You're gonna want to double up on the tape. The thickness and the contact area. After a while they do come off, either from the tape losing cohesion due to heat in the cab, or just from a foot dragging across it as you get out.

I used an allen wrench for the lower clip, worked pretty good. Do this lower first, put it in the OEM cutout like this and pull up/pry and with your other hand on the outside of the knob pull out gently, then do the upper just with a flat blade pushing down and again pulling out gently.


Yesterday put the SR black interior handles in, Ho Runner Pro wheel switches, and AJT wheel emblem on. I'm done with the interior for now! Thought it was cool the handles came with pre-applied grease for the locks/handle cables.

 

Long story short: great deal on a truck that’s in great condition and I just didn’t like the Exterior color. So got a great deal on factory paint job. It all worked out. The interior is tan, btw.

 

Just got the rigid dually fog lights in today, getting the factory bezels in a few days to swap ‘em in flush.

UPDATE:

ok guyssss, so I was just wrapping up the magnuson install, I lifted the fuel rail and a fckn bolt fell in the injector hole. I took off the valve cover and still couldn’t see it. Any answers anyone? I don’t wanna start it up until I get it out. Used magnetic and no luck.

Yep, time to borescope the engine! Hope it’s in an easy spot...

 

If it fell in the injector hole, look inside the lower intake manifold, if you are unlucky it may have moved past an intake valve into the cylinder but I doubt it. A boroscope will help you see if it has or has not.

Can you take a picture of the suspect hole it fell into?

 

If it was forsure a injector hole it most likely is resting against an intake valve, unfortunately if magnets dont work you will have to remove the supercharger to retrieve. Good luck

Super easy one today, put on my in-channel AVS rain guards.

 

Got to put on my RCI Bed Rack and RTT.
RCI @RCIoffroad went above and beyond for me, helped me with shipping times as well as sending me replacement brackets because I broke the first one I mounted. Just overtightened it and it popped the threads out. My fault there.

Also put on @ragofabrication Bed Stiffeners. Pretty easy install with some moderate drilling required.

Very happy with both products and the end result of the bed!

I threw up my RTT but it was dark so I will open it up and take pictures later!

 

Just a heads up yakima make s 4 bike rack that stores vertical it isn't cheap but anything yakima never is. you can get four bikes in the space of those two you have in the back.
