Thank you Roman the detailed list of everything I would need to purchased the hood scoop.

Is there anyone in Nashville thats had theirs installed at a body shop they would recommend? How much was the installation? I just recently had it painted and I'm ready for install.

    Thanks guys!

I would check with my local dealer first and see who they recommend.

Thanks Matt! Did that already when I bought all the parts. They asked around the dealership and just told me any body shop. Wasn't the best answer since I knew not to take it to a dentist office lol. Just looking to see if anyone in my area had it installed. I asked one body shop and their answer was "we could do it, but have never tried" wasn't very comforting haha.

I wouldn't count on a lot of body shops having done this swap. Most likely, the only way they would have messed with one is if the Tundra was involved in an accident, and they were repairing it. In which case, they would have replaced the hood with the one that has holes in it already. I'm assuming you're wanting to drill through your existing hood, correct?

Yes and I did check with the parts department and could not find a replacement heard online. I’ve seen a few guys that have had it installed on this forum but they live in California and one guy did it himself and did a great job. Its had to have been done. Titan motoring and Nashville said that they would. It’s a little pricey,But I think you get what you pay for. Brian’s motorsports in Hendersonville does extreme custom work, television show worthy but will not install the hood scoop LOL. Makes zero sense

I realize it might be nerve racking but you either pay the high price or just do it. You want the scoop then I believe you can pull off doing it. I did it on my 92 4runner when I did the 3.4 swap. Take your time, measure 10x and drill once. Absolute worse case you buy a new hood. I’d recommend getting cork or something of the like, make a template then buy soft measuring tape/erasable marker and go to setting up. Once its on the money then drill.

Yep, I know all of those guys. It's definitely not for the faint of heart because the risk is they screw it up and have to buy a new hood and have it painted, all for a couple few hours of labor. I wouldn't do it.
