Who has replaced their chrome metal front bumper and valance with the one piece resin front bumper, what parts were needed, what parts could be reused and what was the weight savings?

I tried the search feature and found nothing.

I did mine recently. I bought fog light brackets/housings, lower splash shields and the bracket (53877d) left and right. After putting it together, I couldn't use the brackets because there was something else that I needed to replace. The bumper was already on and I didn't feel like taking it off to figure out what else needed to be replaced. However, I was able to connect the lower splash shields. It's been on the interstate over 85 and is holding. I can post pictures if you need some.

didn't want to buy another plastic bumper so I Line-X the chrome part and kept the black plastic part underneath. Almost looks factory. still the same 3 years later.

Is there any weight savings between the metal bumper and the resin bumper?
