I'm reading your posts now and getting a little worried. I'm stock except for my wheels which have a -12 offset and stock tires. Would I run into any issues?

 

I wouldn't go on this one with that setup.

 

What size are your wheels? What tires and how many spares? Are you stock height, no lift?

 

Can anyone answer why tires are so Much right now coopers went up 80 bucks a tire. I’m trying to grab a spare

 

oh dang that looks like fun, still running the stock setup, will need to wait till I get my lift and tires. I hope there will be more runs later this summer and fall.

 

For Poker Flat, I think 33” tires is minimum. I would definitely suggest sliders but not absolutely necessary. Just know there will be a chance of getting a little damage without sliders. Steps and Nerf bars definitely need to be removed.

Even if you want to risk it stock, I wouldn't do it with steps, they will get ripped off.

The part in yellow was about 1’ narrower than our trucks. Want to try to take the route in red. This was right after the lookout.

 

I’ve gone both different routes. But don’t remember any difference.

Anyone know how long this trip takes let’s say from Sf or peninsula ?

 

SF to Downieville is about 3 h 10 min. La Porte to SF is 3 h 20 min.

Downieville - Poker Flat - La Porte is 30 miles, time is anyone's guess

I threw the date out as a joke and it appears to have caught on, so I guess we're doing it. The count is up to 32 trucks so far, so it should be a good time. Just kidding, I don't know how many there are, someone should probably start a thread about it soon.

 

What size are you running? If there are a few people with the same size you may be able to get away with it. You don't want 1 spare for 2 trucks, but 3 spares for 4 trucks might be ok.
