What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Added ARB Compressor on a Victory 4x4 Mount. Have not powered or figured out where to put the switch...

 

Which model # is this? Link? It looks like it was made to go there!

Didn't want to do the TRD inserts because I'm not sure how long I'll keep these wheels. Think it looks much better though.

Added a bunch of sound deadening on the back wall, step one of multiple!

 

I am in the process of wiring up my Viair system and put the switch and gauge right here.

 

Just a heads up. That box was built to go behind the seat of a Crewmax. I’d be surprised if your sub isn’t hitting the bottom of the seat. The double cab box, designed to go under the seat isn’t wedge shaped.

 

Went wheeling with a Toyota group down here in Florida. I was the largest rig by a bit. This is going up about a 40" step. Sorry for the low quality, pics were shared with me.

 

Thanks for the pictures. Looks great, now I’m even more excited! Looks like this kit might even provide a little more lift in the front than my Toytec spacer lift.

 

I was thinking in the glove-box. Clearance is good behind and the glove-box door can close with clearance. I taped a small ball of aluminum foil to the location and closed the glovebox door to compress the foil to verify my switch would have clearance. If the thickness of the foil is deeper than the switch protrudes you should have enough room.



Will do a build thread when all my additional materials show up...Will recheck clearance again before cutting.

Finally got the driver side grab handle for my 2016. Only annoying part was having to trim the plastic for the wiring bundle. Pretty easy otherwise. Here’s my assistant testing it out, as he insists with every job:

Isn’t the cabin air filter accessed at the back of the glovebox? At least on my 2019 it is.

HA! I have a little helper too. He’s there whether I need him or not! Looks like yours is too.

 

Usually it’s just me asking where the hell the socket wrench extender went or why he has an ice pop in the truck. The older one is more helpful.

 

For me it’s always telling mine to stop trying to fix things aren’t broken on Daddy’s truck. Then I send him on his way to his powerwheels with one of my “big boy” tools.

 

Swapped out reverse bulbs with new led. Much better light output and not struggling to see details in camera at night.

We take it easy on Sundays at work, so finally had a chance to throw some wax on my truck in between calls (and after waxing the ladder truck...)

Thanks for the tip after calling icon for the fourth time and getting some one to pick up. Your picture was completely right i did it wrong. I found out that the little stickers for the sides the shocks go on were wrong. I guess I should have ignored them and followed the picture in the instructions but was my first time installing so thought i'd follow there driver passenger stickers. You know the funny thing about the instructions is they don't deliberately state the elbow bends toward the front. I feel pretty dumb that i just didn't go with my original instinct on the install. Told them to get rid of the stickers and just state the shocks elbow needs to be toward the front of the truck.

 

Thank you sir. Stock rims with a 285 plus some 1.25 spacers.
