There is a lot of things wrong in the world (especially now) that needs no discussion but 1 thing that erks me is the way many people treat defenseless animals. In my neighborhood we have only smaller critters like racoons, ducks, big ass iguanas and blue crabs wonder around for 2 weeks out of the year. But my favorite is these guys, African Vervet monkeys.

You can read a bit more here, there's a link at the bottom if you want to make a donation. At least these little guys won't be running around the airport anymore.

Management dept (the wife) & I stop by every now and then to feed them fruits. What surprises me is the reactions from people. Some stop because they have heard of the monkeys, the regulars like myself slowly make there way through and then there's always that 1. That 1 has become famous round these parts and some might argue nationally. Florida man. He even has a website dedicated to him.

    https://floridaman.com/

He always drives through very erratic blaring the horn and with full intention of running over anything that steps into his designated lane. He is an entertaining creature

I can't help but wonder if that is the inspiration for one of my favorite childhood books. A group of monkeys escapes the circus and rewards are put put for them, but a boy who tries catching them spends more time learning about them.
