I would keep them black. They good with door handles and the sliders. I think it pulls it together nicely.

Damn straight! I think blue is the best because it can do everything. It looks great blacked out (your truck is a fine example) and it can do chrome ( see @Fotnot for proof) and there are a ton of various shades and they all look good. Blue Ribbon, Blazing, Voodoo, and Cavalry and I think there might even be some older colors. Point is, blue can pull off any look you want. Next closest is black because it looks good with chrome or blacked out, but the slightest dust or swirl makes it look like shit. Red looks great blacked out, and some are ok with a bit of chrome, and it's way more forgiving like the blues when it comes to cleanliness or slight imperfections. White is just basic and boring, and so is MGM as a color.

Anyway, your truck makes me feel like I need to get flares and bed line the lower portion of my truck. Black and Blue looks so good.

Question for the panel of experts.
    I currently have a 2018 SR5 Blazing Blue Pearl CrewMax 2WD w/14,500 miles.
    A dealer near me has a 2020 SR5 Voodoo Blue SR5 4X4.

With the 2WD, I really don't want to chance getting stuck in the sand at South Padre Island. So I don't go there nor to Boca Chica Beach to surf fish or to take the family.
If I bought the 2020, I'd have no problem going.
Here's the deal though, it's less than 18 months until the next gen Tundras come out. Also, I have modded the headlights/fogs on my truck with OEM LEDs headlights (iHacker harness) and Morimotos. I wonder if the dealership would let me move those over to the new truck? Anyone ever asked or had that done at the dealership?

I've pulled pieces off my other truck to move to my new one, but wasnt items like lights. More like bedrail anchors and stuff like that. They're prob not gonna be too big on it unless you have lights to put in there already, but depends on the dealership and area you live in. Personally...I'm not for buying the first of something like with the new generation of tundra. I always like to wait for people to give reviews and get the kinks worked out on them. And with a new motor, frame, etc coming...I definitely wouldn't want to be the Guinea pig. Just my $.02

18 months til new one but it may have new engine configuration. If you want the 5.7v8 I'd trade now not knowing what's in plans for the future tundra.

Do you still have stock lights? Replace now and trade in. Then swap out again on the new truck. Doubt they want you switching those on the lot. But always worth the try as well. Good luck!

Keep in mind...would they fit the new tundra? I dont know what the body looks like, but it may be changing where you cant even move them from a 2014-2020 model to a 2021 model. Unless you know something I don't (which isnt that hard haha).

This is going from an 18 to 20 year model (headlight assembly and fog lamps).

I agree with Tim. If you have stocks, use those before trading in, I assume you don’t or you wouldn’t be asking. So grab some used stocks on here or Tundra classifieds if you have facebook. Then you can sell your stocks again when you trade to the new beast and get your cash back. Stock headlights and fogs should cost you about $200.

You have a nice color. I am supposed to look at this one today. I want a 5.7 is the main reason.

Yeah I have always been jealous of the 5.7. My 13 has a 4.6 but I will be keeping it. I haven't been in a 5.7 so I don't know how much more powerful it is on a daily driving basis compared to the 4.6. I'm supposed to look at the Calvary in an hour but the MGM looks nice too. I don't need a payment but would like a 5.7 before they get replaced by a V-6 turbo lol.

What are you wanting done? Color matched toyota parts? Wanting them painted by a shop? Vinyl wrapped? All will have different costs.

Also, if you are Blazing Blue Pearl the color code is 8T0

Check out places like sparkparts.com. I've looked at color matched door handles and hole-ee sheet! I'm going to paint match it myself with spray paint in my garage. I can only imagine the cost for the bigger items.

Sorry I typed that wrong...I knew it was 8T0....I am trying to do a black and blue kind of theme, but it will be tough to accomplish the way I want. @Blazing Blue ...What items did you use to match the 8T0 color code?

@Black Dynamite just making sure you didn't get things the wrong color :)
I'm currently working to get quotes for painting or wrapping the grill surround to be color matched. I will either raptor line my bumpers or get the bumper shell covers. It's like $300 for the bumper shells for front and back
