Morning all! Busy day. Kids last day of school they have goodbye Zooms and parades.

Started replacing the bent rear lower control arms in the 4Runner last night. Did the easy one, have to do the bent one today.

Noticed yesterday that my inspection in the Tundra was due in March, ooops.

Okay so here is a dilemma, was going to take the wave runners out to the lake this weekend but they need to be serviced first....400$ est each for service...ugh! So do I take that 800$ and use it as a down payment on 2 new ones with the trade in of the old ones or go with the service and hold on to the old ones until they die?

Its the labor that is the killer, almost 2 hours, wish I could do it myself but since they dont have drain plugs you have to pump all the oil out of them..ugh!

What makes you think they need service, are they running bad? I had Yamaha wave runners for years, never once serviced them. To be honest, the only thing I ever did was replace the spark plugs every season and put in some Sta-bil if I stored them w/a full tank. I can't imagine a wave runner needing such an expensive service.

They sat all last year so I wanted to make sure that they were all good before I took them out. Ice gotten service done on the regularly just skipped the last 2 years from.lack or little use. Since it is AZ I worry that the heat cooked things in there and dont want to blow a seal or gasket while out there. They have stable/seafoam in them as I do that every year and the beginning of the season and on the last trip out for the season.
