Damn, that's no good. I live Westheimer/Gessner area and last week on NextDoor a neighbor posted that their landscaping bricks were stolen overnight. The following day a few neighbor's found them...Unfortunately their vehicles were all on them. Never would've thought to look out for landscaping bricks being stolen though.

Yeah, its crazy our there right now, deputy said crime is up 75% on this kind of stuff. I work from home and was just out front; a neighbor stopped by from down the street and said his rocks got stolen from around his mailbox.

Do you know if they had wheel locks on their wheels? I am down south but thinking hard about wheels locks for our vehicle that sits outside.

They all had locking lug nuts, I talked to 3 out of 4 the trucks that got hit. My neighbor across the street we were looking at the locking lug nuts and they werent marred or anything. They had the lug nut keys for all of the trucks. Heard about another 4 trucks north of me in Tomball 77377, on Monday night.

I went and looked at auto alarms today and not sure thats the answer. Maybe 5 different locking wheel lug nuts so it takes a while?

Where the lugs OEM and only one per tire? Or where they like a gorilla brand and all locking lugs?

Been quiet...Yall ok out there? Went to Galveston last weekend, horrible idea to say the least. Place was a mad-house, safe to say I will be headed back to the less accessible beaches next time.

Anyone ever get sliders fabbed in Houston? I am working with Gulf Coast Crawl Shop/Javiers right now for some weld on....I will keep y'all posted on how things turn out and cost.

Planning to head to Galveston either tomorrow or Thursday with the family for some beach time, finally...
I think weekends are when it gets crowded?

Hit or miss but yeah. People off work and kids at home tend to bring groups out but they're not bad. That was our 4th time on the seawall since they reopened for covid, and by far the most crowded. East Beach is nice if you can get a parking spot along the beach front and post up...Then you get bathroom access and snow cone trucks lol

Were going to go to surfside next time and see how it is i believe.

The past 2 weekends we went far west to the San Luis area for a half day. Usually plenty of space until about noon then crowds start rolling in, which is when we head out.

MUCH better beach, people, all around good time. I went to Galveston with the dog once. Took me an hour & 20 min. We got out, was attacked by skeeters in knee deep seaweed, packed up and left. Never went back.

Yeah Galveston isn't anything to write home about haha. My lady and some friends are driving out for a long weekend in Corpus Father's Day weekend, see what that's like. May even try to get some surfing in if we luck out and there's a decent swell!

Nice! Recommend any decent surf spots out there? Our AirBnB is right by Bob Hall Pier, which I hear is a good spot.

Plenty of good spots to surf fish down there depending on the wind. Bob hall is good but gets pretty crowded this time of the year. The south side of the Packery Channel is another good spot early in the morning when the tide is moving but gets packed with beach goers and party animals later in the day. Fish Pass is my go to for shore and jetty fishing during June/July when its hot and the blue water comes in closer!

Try Matagorda Beach. $10 annual permit and 20+ miles of beach to drive if you have a 4x4. Good trout and red fishing in the summer months.

Oh come on guys it's not that bad, the seawall sucks, but I grew up on Jamaica beach in my grandparents house there so ease up! lol I surf surfisde/matagorda a lot havent been to corpus in probably 10 years to surf so I wouldnt know. The coast had a pretty good swell in on Monday actually, but due to work I missed out. Oct was the last time I was able to get some good surf.

Already got mine from Stanleys! :)...My childhood friend had a house on beach front rd right before the pier. That last pic i posted was gorda surf! We fish matagorda bay a lot, but out of POC and Seadrift. My uncle and his friends have a little fish camp in POC. My family has always been pretty salty so we tend to frequently visit the coast, and our friends are like minded.
