I'd like to get some 8s or 12s, but I wouldn't be able to work easily with them.

The high torque almost is almost never broken out. The ⅜ impact is the usual winner.

The ¼ hex? A daily house hold use for me. Inside, and out. I used it to wire wheel the bumper support, and will use it again tomorrow when the weather clears up.

Looks like he is straining a little bit holding the Momba Impact out there. We’ll deduct 2 more points for that on top of the Rookie Hour Shiny Tool Look.

My favorite is the sparkling white hard hat, and ultra crisp bright green safety vest with the creases from the package still visible, on a construction site. “Dog and pony show”

The through holes by the tailgate are the worst offenders. No clue on how I'd get a welder in there...

On the bright side that appears to be the only rust on the whole bed.

its blown capacitors for the past 3 years. the compressor seized up when i got another new cap on it.. its just become so much of a headache and i know the furnace is starting to show its age.. its just time to have a new furance and A/C installed. buddies going to do it in exchange for header installation and some other things on his 2018 challenger. im just paying for the equipment

Yeah that’s no bueno. You could always throw a “hard start” on it and see what she does. And I’ve literally hit them with a hammer, wood, to get them “unceased”
But that’s good if you can do trade out and hopefully only pay at cost for the equipment.

what maintence? lol recharged it 8 years ago and the past 3 years capacitor deaths. we fix things as they break. everything on the house we activly maintain or pay to have maintained always fails early.

ive adopted this meathod with the corolla. and 850k later its still running... only 1 coolant flush (new water pump), the ATF has been done once at 300k, new power steering lines, and a new a/c clutch.... Hell the corollas a/c has never needed a recharge! and theres a gaping hole in the condenser fins! lol

@FrenchToasty heres my question. 3000 sq ft home, single stage or 2 stage furnace? The current one is a 80% efficiency single stage.

oh and I’m for sure going though with it. The ol girls starting to have small cracks. She’s almost on her way out

I’ve got the same size house. Was quoted 2 stage.
80%?!?!? Man that must be an old system. Should be 96% now

I would definitely get 2 stage(I went with 2 stage and we live in the desert) and a higher efficiency unit. I got dual stage cooling too

Man, I had nothing but problems with my 90% unit. Sob froze up every damn winter. Heat pumps are garbage. Well, in warm, dry climates anyways.

I’ve found all the Bells and Whistles on A/C and Heating units to be very expensive upfront and down the road one more thing to break down.

One thing that really helps A/C in the summer is having the outside compressor in 100% shade with lots of space for air circulation around the unit. A small hedge of delicate bushes/vines works. Make sure you clean out the leaves/etc every year. Blow out the condensate line and pour some Bleach down in to keep the gookies out every season, too.
