Looking for advice. Here a list of parts I have waiting to install. The only component I need help on is the tires.

6112 at 1.9 with 2 CB driver shims, 1 pass
    5160 2+ CB shackles
    CB front bumper shims
    18x9 +12 FN BFD wheels

Just would love to figure out what tire and size I should go with. A true 35, a 295/70, or a 285? I do know I will be running an AT style tire, maybe a hybrid of some sort, but definitely not a MT

Your setup is gonna be awesome. I think your truck will be leveled out. My rear is about 2" higher than the front but that was the look I was going for.
Besides choosing what size tires: I would narrow it down between the 295/70 and a 35". The 285 might not cover your wheel well as much as a 295, but if staying stock the 285 looks good. Going up to a 35" you might be able to get away from removing the mud flap since you're doing the front bumper shims and front lift, but heavier tire means lower MPG.
Honest truth, going up to a 295/70 it did feel heavier. I can't imagine what a 35" would feel like.
Hope this helps. Good luck on the build. Post your truck up we like to see it! Thanks.

No, I mean stock suspension. No lift or change to suspension.

You ended with 2 inch rake with your set up? I ordered 6112 after the ray 10s rubbed on 275 70. Back and forth on the plus 3 and plus 2 coach CB. I went with 1.9 setting and stock measurements are right around 2 inch rake 20200531_142436.jpg

Yes. It will still rub lightly with the 275/70. Going up to a 295/70 definitely had to trim part of the mud flap. I went with CB shackles +2 (1.25 inches).

    Truck looks good.

I barley rub now with the set up I have truck is currently stock. I just dont want to look too much like a stink bug with the +3 shackles and only going 1.9 with no shims

Curious about this too since I also heard 2"+ shackles might cause clearance issues with the TRD exhaust.

Oh for sure. If you go with the CB +3 shackles, rear is going to sit higher if no shims up front. Stick with the CB +2. I think going with CB +3 I would have to set the lift at 2.5"

It should not interfere with the TRD Dual Exhaust according to Coachbuilder. That's why on ToyTec website, they say minor modification might be needed if installing the dual exhaust. That is why I choose to go with CB. Will know when I install the exhaust if there is any problem.

Very interested in your results as you are going bigger than what I looking at (295/70r18 or 285/75r17) but with the same suspension. How is the ride with the leaf pack? How far are your tire outside the wheel wells? Does it rub at all or bottom out on the fender?

    Looks gorgeous though.

    Workin' on em
Just purchased 6112/5160 kit (with a new top mount to go with it). Also have three .5" shims, Camburg UCAs, and a Deaver Mini pack f85 going in the rear with no shackles.

Goal is to set the 6112 at 1.9" with two .5" lift coachbuilder shims for the driver side and one .5" shim for the passenger side. As I understand it, that should level out my driver side with my passenger side, and lift the front up to level it with the stock rear (~2.5").

Performance lifts tell me the Deaver f85 provides about 1-1.5" of lift in the rear, and so I'm foregoing getting shackles in hopes that the Deaver will help provide about 1-1.5" rake keeping the stock shackles.

Goal is for the rake to stay between 1-1.75".

Shoes going on her are matte black Stealth Custom SR8s with +25 offset wrapped in 285/75r18 Duratracs.

Haven't seen much on here that speaks for the height that the Deaver's will provide. I was debating pairing them with the CB.625 shackles but don't want to risk being too high in the rear.

I'll be running the bump stop washer up front, carrier bearing drop kit (for the 1" rear lift to avoid vibrations), and the diff drop kit to help with the CV angles. All that, and a CB power steering rack and poly bushing kit.

Anybody have any experience, advice or guidance with this setup?

Really looking for some feedback on the Deaver f85 pack working with the 6112/5160 too. Curious what height I'd get out of the deavers and how much I should anticipate them settling.

Also, being told by a mechanic that I likely won't need to do the BMC given my offset and UCAs. I thought I'd have to regardless with these tires.

Thanks in advance for anybody taking the time.

I'm 2.5" up front, stock UCA's with 285/75/18's wrapped around methods with +18 offset and 5.75" back spacing. Had it aligned and no rubs on my cab mount... i bought the relentless plates in anticipation though.

I have never had Deaver springs, but the consensus is that they are great for about a year or so and then they flatten out and sag. Running 285/75-18s without a bmc will be tough, from what I have read 295/70-18 is as big as you can run without getting a bmc. I think I remember some being able to run 285/75-18, but I am not sure what they had to do to fit them. The Goodyear Duratracs are a great tire, they are just insanely noisy!
