Help installing Pop & Lock on my 2016

    hi everyone I'm johnny50. just wanted to see what your all up to with your Tundra's. I'm in the middle of installing the tailgate pop&lock and I can not get it to work by there instructions. has any one hear done it and have pics of the wires the hooked to. thanks. and sorry if I'm starting something that has been done once already, but I locked and did not see a form for this.

    I installed the pop and lock on my 16. Just follow the instructions and it will work. The only issue is it may work backwards, if so swap the wires.

    Bilstein 6112/5160, 3 CB front shims, SPC UCA's, CB +3 rear Shackles, total 3/2 lift, Dif drop, CB Carrier bearing drop, Fortin Evo One remote start from Tech12volts PnP, AMP research Powersteps PnP, Vent shades, Tinted windows, Black/Red lined cupholder inserts, Proclip USA dash phone mount with Scosche Magic Mount wireless magnetic phone charger, Stock wheels/tires for now.
    My best advice is to get rid of that thing.

    Order toyota factory locking tailgate kit from Roman on his thread. 1 hour install, exactly as instructed, factory toyota quality, plug and play, nice and quiet.

    Installed on my 2014 1794 easy as pie. Only hard part was zip tiring wiring to frame rails and wire harness.

    I understand people like the pop n lock, and it was a great solution until toyota made their own. Now why go with anything other then factory quality plug and play reliability? Even the price is good, I paid low one hundred something.
