The police need to crack down on the recyclers. That had an affect up here. Does Desert Eagle make a skid for your truck? The one I have makes it very difficult to get to the cats......and everything else #doubledgesword

The recyclers are as guilty as the thieves! I believe the only one making skids is Skid Row. The drivers side cat on 1st gens is extremely vulnerable to theft.

That sucks Paul. The GF's car got broken in to last weekend some how. There are some shops welding on 1/4 round bar along the exhaust to help deter theft due to taking longer to saw through.

My friend who owns the muffler shop I go to has an idea to slow them down but ultimately if they really want it, they usually get it. :(

We had some guys hit the shop in the middle of the day. One of the guys chased them off when he heard a sawzall under one of the trucks.

Found out that the catalytic converters used in my truck are only available from Toyota... for approximately $2100!!!!!! And that’s not including the harness pigtail that plugs into it. Truck is still at my buddy’s shop. State Farm taking their sweet fn time.

Happy birthday @nishibot !!! Have a great day Steve!

I’m heading for a little day trip to Joshua Tree tomorrow with the wife and kiddo. Never been which is sad being a SoCal native. Those of you who have wheeled around out there, what would you recommend for a few hours of exploring some cool stuff?

I’ve only driven through the national park so I can’t speak on that, other than the trees look cool, but the Old Dale Mining district has a lot of cool mines to explore but not sure they’re kid friendly. Either way I’m sure you’ll enjoy exploring out there, lots of different trails.

I have done Berdoo Canyon and Old Dale Road. Both are pretty easy trails but Old Dale Road has better spots to explore.

Only done the main road here. Not even sure where the real Joshua trails are....

Spent the day yesterday trying to add my extra icon leaf into my rxt pack. What a PITA! It’s also wayyyy taller now than I expected. Gotta up the front a little. Also found out the shop that installed the kit originally used my stock u bolts instead of the icon supplied ones. So gotta order those as the OEM ones are way to short

thanks! Love it. I have my maxtraxx and mounting stuff sitting in the back of my truck. Didn’t get to it yesterday. Will prob move the shovel and axe inside of the hi lift so that I can use one lock to lock them all up. Maxtraxx will go on the outside on the other side and inside of maxtraxx will be open for now. I also have their bike attachments coming so have to figure out how I can have everything on there lol

The bike attachment mounts to the side right? Just one or can it support two bikes? Looking forward to seeing your final setup.

The setup will never be done!!!

but yea it mounts on the end uprights of the rack. Bike sorts sits floating on the side. Wondering how much room I’ll have between Pedal and rack. That will be the issue with mounting equipment on the outside.

two bike total. One on each side.

Heads up, the Icon ubolts that came with my kit were too short with the pa k in option 3 and the bump stop striker plate installed. I brought this to their attention a couple of years ago. When you contact Icon make sure you tell them your on option 3 with the bump stop kit.

@typeone are you running the 54" rack or the 58"?
