2016 SR5 Crewmax TRD 4wd 46,000. I do not do any off roading but tow a 5600 lb trailer a few times in the summer. No mods, stock tires. Do scheduled maintenance and tire rotations, dealer has never mentioned anything? Not a mechanic AT ALL!! Thanks for the input..

Retorque the nuts, check the fluid level in the diff (good time to just change it), and clean off those stains on the diff and monitor it. You will then know if you need to address it any further.

EDIT: or it may be an issue as @jtwags has mentioned.
