I had a 2008 Ram 1500 back in the day, but never a problem. I feel like there are horror stories all over from every manufacture, but i hear less about toyota.

Like the good ol saying goes, "If toyota ever builds a diesel, ill get one" lol

Very true. And honestly, while it's true that some makes are more reliable than others, a good (or bad) dealership makes a HUGE difference. I'd rather have an OK vehicle with a fantastic warranty/customer support/dealership, than a fantastic vehicle with an OK warranty/customer support/dealership.

Can't get over how weird those cabs look lol. I do like the 8ft bed option on those, however.

It was one of my main stipulations. I told myself if i ever got something other than a Tundra, it would be the 2500 Mega cab.

    1. Had to be a mega cab. its an extra 11-12" of room in the back, recline-able rear seats, and additional storage compartments. They also lay flat, which is awesome for my 2 German Sheps.
    2. 12" uconnect screen-- cause theyre badass and 4k-5k to put in aftermarket.
    3. Leather seats with coolers

There is enough room in the cab for the Von Trap Family singers.

fully loaded 2020 and i was OTD at just under 68k.

the mega cabs run about 6-8k more than the average crew cab (at least for the laramie)

only thing i noticed i dont have is sidesteps. which is odd, but not a dealbreaker by any means.

Not ready for that kinda money on a new rig. I priced a new F350 4WD longbed and it came out to 58k but that's a plain jane model. Crazy how much prices have changed in the last few years...

yeah... everything is so damn expensive. I mean ever our trucks can get close to 60k. its wild. F-250s were around the same MSRP, 74-75.

I think mine MSRPd for 74.5k.

    Beautiful RAM, bro!
I love my 2015 SR5, but I agree. My 2010 GMC Sierra had more going for it with electronics and read outs than this Tundra does.
Cannot believe how far behind the Japanese are in this aspect with these trucks. Definitely the most reliable truck I have owned!

MegaCabs only get 6.5' beds, even on the dually versions. Same wheelbase as the Crew Cab 8' box.
