I spoke to David today and sounds like some kits will be shipping next week. He mentioned that he had some delays with tubes for steering kits. He also mentioned that Bora had been closed for a period of time so spacers are also delayed. Hopefully some will start going out soon. I'm trying to be patient :(

    Lots.
I ordered my ProKit on 13-April. I spoke to David on Friday 29-May, and he said he's "still waiting on the steering tubes to get back from the anodizers". Also said that there may be some hold up with the Bora spacers, but I think I got a delivery receipt from them already (currently deployed overseas). Headed home now and have all the other kit necessary to get my tires on. Anxiously awaiting. Everything is all screwed up with this COVID-19 mess I guess.

    Anyone done 315x70x17 ko2s on method 701s 0” offset?

trying to figure out if cb is all I need or bmc in addition or if it’s just not going to work?

right now I have someone telling me that the 0” offset with the wheels and width of the ko2s will not work, even with the cb kit.

I'm patiently waiting as well. I'm not as far back as you, only 3, but hopefully things pick back up and things start shipping sooner rather than later. I think most of this is out of Dave's hands. He's very responsive when I send him an email. I've got the same answers most have, waiting for parts on anodizers.

It will work. Just with a lot of trimming up front. I have the cab chop too, but you can probably skip it. I have the Cooper STT Pro in the same size. They are a little bigger than the KO2s. You should also get the CB bumper shim.E35BDBA3-B70C-4EB9-8A5D-BEB5E72513CB.jpg

I have the shackles and shims but I’m wondering if I really need the steering links. I’m sure it’ll perform better with it. Did all of you add the steering kit?

I have the OG steering kit before the rubber booties, I’d say it has a noticeably better feel to it. Also ran the truck without them For a couple years, on two shims and +3s (this is before he made a pro kit with a single larger shim). So, no you won’t need them, and they’re an easy addition later.

Me either. Seems most manufacturers are several weeks out from the suggested time. Most places I've seen won't even put shipping times anymore.

I received mine yesterday minus the Bora spacers. Called David and there is no firm ETA on them as he said Bora has been extremely backed up from the virus lock down. I actually went and acquired two Spidertrax spacers temporarily for the front so I can install my lift on the stock wheels and tires while waiting on the Bora's to get in. I've been waiting a couple of months now and I want to get my new tires installed ASAP.

Well it's good to hear that some of you are getting your kits now. I ordered mine on the 24th of April so hopefully I'll get mine soon.

Got my kit yesterday, I spoke with Bora and the spacers should arrive maybe by this Friday. I ordered my KiT on April 14th, so I’m guessing yours should be arriving shortly.

I installed my Pro Kit 6/11 and it went well. I did it all alone and it was a relatively easy install. Went to a local Firestone yesterday and had the lifetime alignment done. Now if I could just get my BORA spacers delivered, that were ordered with the Pro Kit on April 13, I could get my tires installed.

I'm still deciding between 295/70r18's and 35x12.5r18's as I'm staying with the stock wheels. The main concern is the addition of unsprung weight. I'm thinking of going with Toyo AT III's and the 295's weigh 62 lbs. versus 75 lbs. for the 35's. Not that much difference in height but more so in width. I love the way the stock Michelin's ride and feel but HATE the way that they look. I'm nervous about the loss of power and ride quality with the larger heavier tires. Trying to find the correct balance between performance and aesthetics. What size and brand tires are you thinking about?

Nice. Trying to go 35’s on the factory wheel but I need to find a shop that will do it. Some shops are reluctant because the wheel’s width. But I’ve seen plenty of folks run the setup so it’s just a matter of finding a the right shop.

Its aggressive but not that aggressive, and further more its tough to find a lighter weight wheel that isn't crazy expensive. Provided you don't air out your 35x12.5 on the factory wheels too much you should be just fine.

Odds arent in your favor, most likely gonna need a BMC. Try a +25 offset if you want to try and avoid the BMC with 35s.

Factory pro rims are 9", falls right in the recommended rim width for 315s and 35s. Really odd that the shops would have an issue with that, but I've heard of it before.

If I’m not mistaken the Pro Rims are 8” which is causing some shops to say no.

My mistake, looks like youre right. I guess that would explain their hesitation. I seen plenty of people running 35s on stock Tacoma and 4Runner wheels that were 7.5" and 8" though. Personally I've never seen or heard of an issue first hand with running 35s on those wheels.

BFGs site though does list the wheel width range as 8-11" for the 315/70r17, yet the 35x18 and 35x17 are listed as 8.5". Bummer.

Yeah, I went to the local Discount Tire today to get a quote and they won't install 35x12.5 Toyo's on the stock TRD Pro rims. They would install 295/70's if I wanted to go with them instead. Then I went to my local independent tire guy that I have used with my other vehicles for 30 years and he said "no problem" he would install the 35's on the 8" wide rims as he does it all the time. Also, he beat DT's quoted price by $200 and will buy my stock Michelin's with 2500 miles on them (and the quoted installed price was before offering to buy my stock tires). Now if I just had the BORA spacers I ordered and paid for over two months ago I could get this done. Out of exasperation last week I went to 4WP and purchased a pair of Spidertrax 1.25" spacers for the front wheels so that I could install the Pro Kit and be able to run the stock tires and rims until the BORA spacers come in. I even called David @Coachbuilder to confirm that the stock tires and rims definitely required spacers in the front as it says on his website. I installed the Pro Kit the next day and afterwards went to install the spacers before putting the tires back on and - they sold me the wrong size. Great. Now I have a truck that I technically can't drive. So... I put the wheels back on anyway and carefully backed out of my driveway and gingerly did a test drive to see if the wheels were going to clear and... they did. Went and had a lifetime alignment done at Firestone and that went fine. I also had a BMC done last week just to avoid any rubbing issues down the road. I'm all set... if only the BORA spacers would show up. (4WP doesn't have the correct size Spidertrax spacers and can't get them for a week to 10 days either). Sheesh...
