Has anyone on here ever thought about making the rear seats in a CM slide forwards and back and have the back seat recline, dont get me wrong I love the huge back seat area but when my son is sitting in his car seat it would be nice to pull the seat forward a bit and recline back a little, just a thought

That was factory on a Tundra until the 2014 model came out. Then they went to the lift up type seats. My 2011 moved forward and reclined, my '16 did not. Needless to say the '11 was more comfortable for rear passengers.

No need for a back seat for me. I took them out for my dogs. Would a back seat from a 2007-2013 fit the same to allow the slide and recline in a 2014-2020? I don't think so but not positive on that.

Right now that is the only complaint I have about the whole truck, wish there was some kind of kit to retrofit them to slide and recline

Awhile back I was reading a post on here someone was in the process of putting the seat from a 2nd gen in a 3rd gen, but don’t know the outcome because I can’t find it. I was definitely going to do that mod if it worked.
