The rear bumper on my 07 is very slightly bent and I figured since I'm wanting to eliminate the chrome anyway I would replace it with a Rock Warrior bumper. I looked on Rock Auto, Amazon, and Ebay and they all have them for $100 to $150 for the bare bumper. I can re-use the other parts off my original bumper. If you have used one of these bumpers I would like to know your experience with it. I am not interested in spending a grand on a bumper so please don't suggest that.

Got the eBay one. Fits perfect. Would definitely recommend it. Had it color matched and it looks like OEM.

Alright, this is a stupid question from a first time truck owner. My current bumper on my “grade” 2010 is just a plastic one I wouldn’t step on. If I get one of these step bumpers, is it a simple swap and I’m good to go?

Why not contact a auto repairing shop, they might have second hand bumper.

Just going from 2nd hand experience here with my old 2004 Tacoma, it had a factory painted "grey" bumper with a big dent in it. Replaced it with an aftermarket chrome bumper, looked OEM, was less than $300, way way way cheaper than having a body shop sand, prime, shoot grey paint on a bare steel bumper.

Is there a black OEM step bumper? I was just considering the aftermarket because of the positive reviews and low cost. I mainly just want a step bumper.

I got an OE Toyota rear bumper for my Rock Warrior (they come pre-painted black) for around $500. Insurance helped pay for it ;).

Which brand was it? I've seen a few different ones I'm considering but want a good quality one. I can always go for an OEM for $350.
