But it drives awesome going around corners So we had to work on the settings. The hardest part was trying to figure out how to measure for the drop link. If you have a lifted truck it makes a big difference. So if you see I done anything wrong please let me know thanks again prostar for ur help893CA24D-CB55-4190-B5EE-3AEB68CC635D.jpg

You went with the tightest set up right out of the box, 3rd hole closest to the axle.

Well I did a test run with my camper today with the Hellwig sway bar. I think it’s worst than before. Iam doing something wrong for sure.

Hellwig reccos you go with the lightest setting first when installing their sway bar. They then recco you move up in firmness as you grow accustomed to the feel. On my Hellwig, I started out as recco'd and then moved to the middle setting after about a month which is where I am happy. These bars are one of the best performance changes I’ve done on my truck. Great on the street and for tow/haul.

I guess that’s what Iam going to do. Start at the least and more to the middle. But on firmest drives awesome!!!

The instructions are not so great. They from 2007. They show like 2 nuts on the u bolts but some of them was to small. So getting the measurements for the drop down probably was an issue cause my watch a YouTube video and show the Jam nut for the drop link was level with the top spring but the sway bar is not level. But it could took me about 1hour but broke some tools and my son want me teach him so we took out time

image.jpg image.jpg Update. Call Hellwig and sent him pictures of the swap bar. The problem I had was a little to high but the many issue was that I would measure from the ground to the drop link. So I was forcing one side in to keep the jam nuts the same. So he told to do one side and then adjust the other drop link. Didn’t matter where the jam nut was. I put it in the middle hole but can tell a difference. So Iam going to the middle home and try to pul my camper and see what it does. He also said keep it tilted up some cause when you put. Load on it the truck/ swap bar will have a negative pitch to it and this is what Iam not sure about but told me to take my Timbren off and see if if it does better. Oh and only need 7 threads so right now Iam at 10 and 14. He also said I should have lock nuts on the ubolts. I do have extra but they don’t fit. image.jpg
