I have a 2020 Tundra that is showing it is -999 degrees outside! I attached an image of the display. I am curious what the issue is. Is my truck at fault or is it the HD radio station that is at fault. I am thinking that it is the station. My wife's Lexus NX does not display a current temperature. I am thinking that the -999 is some sort of default when no temperature information is broadcasted. I am just guessing though. Does anyone know what the issue is? Thanks guys!

Must be picking up ND’s average temp.

Yeah, -999 is pretty cold! I just want to make sure it is not an issue with the truck's electronics......

that would be an issue with the signal. not the truck.

OK cool. I kinda figured that especially since the wife's NX is doing something similar. I will let you know what happens when I am closer to another weather station.

It is definitely an issue with the signal. I actually traveled a little bit today (NJ lockdown stucks). The truck picked up a different signal and all is good. I attached a pic. Is there any way to force the truck to pick up a different signal?

OK. Lakewood, NJ is a mess and that is the closest station. Hopefully they can repair the issue on their end. Thanks for the help!
