Well I bought my wheels and lift on 5/2/2018 and I had problems with the install and ended up going back and forth to the install shop until all was straightened out which took a while. Well then I had an issue with a slow leak and the shop that did the alignment and wheel balance hey the tires and said they could not find a leak. It was very slow. Then in the winter months it was hardly noticeable because it was so low and went on vacation. Well I had it looked at every time I had a balance or an alignment but nobody could find it.

Introducing this little lady that works at Discount Tire as a supervisor. She told me my truck was done and they found no leak. I told her how low it was when I brought it in so she yanked it off and put it in the tub of water and there it was. The Icon wheel had a pin hole in the aluminum and that is where the leak was coming from. Icon has a lifetime warranty for manufacturing defeats and I believe a pin hole in the wheel will be covered.

The install shop said to contact Icon which I did by sending an E-mail directly to the rep in our area but have yet to hear back from him. Well I am getting irritated now that nobody has contacted me concerning this and I put up with chasing the ghost for as long and I have with no support from Icon.

Does anyone know how to contact the warranty department directly? I would have thought the install company which is a dealer for Icon could have covered it but apparently that is not how it is done there. When I went to Icon’s site is did not find a direct number to warranty and when I called the direct number I was not able to be transferred to anything warranty and never got to speak to a real person. Frustrating

Well I sent photos per @Icon_Adrian on 6/25 and still waiting for a reply. He told me on 6/24 he will coordinate with his team and get back to me ASAP. Not sure what the hold up is but good thing it is a slow leak...

That was my 2012. Loved that truck. Actually like it better than the 2019, except the interior.
ADD sliders. Dont recommend them as they are not attached to the frame and have minimal support to the body. Really more of a running board unfortunately. Got them from @T-Rex266 so i cant complain. Maybe someday i will upgrade to real sliders.
The wheels are obviously Icon Six Speed as that is what this thread is about. The tires are 35" Nitto Ridge Grapplers.

    All the usual stuff!
I would pick different tires if I did it again. Bfs measure small. I’d go for 35x12.5 Nitto ridge grapplers or Toyo mts also in 35x12.5. If you want to keep bf, look into the 37x12.5. They’re just over 36”

I have a 2018 SR5 OR Crewmax and I'm looking at 315/70r17 Duratracs on Icon 6 Speeds because I want to avoid a BMC. I'm looking at the ARB OME complete lift kit which is 2.5" in the front and 1" blocks in the back.

Is this enough lift to fit the tires? The 315s on 17s are the perfect set-up for me but I don't want to chop up my truck.

I have between 2.5" and 3" of lift up front with larger tires thaN the Duratracs and do not have rubbing on the BM.

OK thanks. I think the OME will be perfect. I called 4WP for install quotes and they were a bit skeptical when I told them that the Icons have the perfect offset to prevent a BMC - he said 90% of Toyotas with that wide of a tire are going to get chopped. Hope I'm part of the 10%.

Love this thread. Even if it has been quiet for a while.

I am about to pull the trigger on some serious upgrades for my Silver 07 Double Cab. Thinking of a BDS 4.5 inch lift and 17inch icons. Might go with the rebounds instead of the six speed, but very similar wheels. I've been on the fence with how much rubbing and trimming I would get with the 315/70r17 KO2s with the 4.5 lift and +25mm offset. This thread has been helpful and sounds like it should not be too bad. Just some mixed opinions not sure how much an 07 differs from say a 2016.

I dm'd 07KingTundra he has that sick red truck with a similar setup and sounds like it worked out. Well any re-assurance from the crowd this will work out with out a chop would be great. I will post before after pictures if I go for it. Thanks everyone for posting in this thread theres a lot to research to get the right wheel tire lift combo I've been through lots of threads.

Other tires I considered were just 35x12.50 or 285/70r17 but I really like the look of the 315/70s and would like to go with a C class tire to save some weight.

    Cheers

I just sent a set of rebounds back to Icon because the new lugs didn't fully engage those short factory studs. How did you address this? Install new studs or were these wheels machined for the factory lugs?

My wheels bought from Icon come in the size required for my Tundra. Looks like you either are trying to use the stock lug nuts or you have the wrong lug nuts or wheels. What is the part number for your wheel?

The problem I had was the new acorn style lugs didn't fully engage the stud with the Icon wheels. On the stock wheel and stud/lug, I got 10 full rotations of the lug on the stud. With the Icon wheel, I only got 4.5 rotations of the lug onto the stud, so I didn't have full engagement of the lug onto the stud. That sets up a bad situation of not having enough thread engagement on the stud.

I had to get some really quality lugs from Amazon to get that 10-11 rotations with my icon wheels. Worth it to me.

Specifically with the rebound wheels, I think you will find that most ppl are using aftermarket lugs for this reason. I am using the sdhq splined variety and they fit the hole diameter of the rebound wheels better than the acorn style lugs.
