Subwoofers in tundra

Has anyone put any type of sub woofer(dual 12's dual 10's ect)stereo system into a 2007 toyota tundra, I'm having a really hard time finding information. I'm wanting to put a 12 under each backseat but I dont know anything about the best position for subs in the truck itself

 

What type of Cab do you have? I know JL makes stealth boxes for both Double cab and CrewMax .. i currently own a 07 CrewMax i was able to reuse my old truck box but definitely going to upgrade to the Stealth box.. check crutch field out enter the your vehicle info and theirs alot of info..

I have his single behind passenger seat and wish I went twin.

 

True on the above comment.... but that single speaker is night and day different from stock!

 

I have a double cab 6 row seating I seen a video of a custom box but no links I'm currently out so I cant exactly look st the link you sent but will for sure when home

 

For a double cab, just fold up the passenger rear seat and throw a serious enclosure in there.

It's a great excuse for not being able to have more than 2 paasengers. Well maybe 3 if the 2 in the back are little.

 

I don't have a back seat, so I put a powered Kenwood sub under the passenger seat of my 2007.

 

Stealth box is awesome in the CM and you keep all of your functionality.

 

Could you send a link to the stealth box? I'm wanting to keep all seating hopefully I have 6 person seating so removing just the single seat for a sub might work but I'd like it to be able to fit all 6 people because I camp and do other activities that require the seating

I'm also trying to impress my friends and myself since to be fair looking for the right sub is difficult when you've never experienced a good sub

This is for a 07 DC Tundra , hand crafted by JL , with matched JL subs to air space and driver depth

 

This looks great only issue being I dont got that kind of cash I appreciate the help anyway tho

I'm more looking now into smaller subs that will fit into a custom box I'm planning on making
I have about 5 3/4 inches between the bottom of my seat and the floorboard

I've thought about making a small extender to the bottom of my backseats to make them slightly higher to give me the space for the subs

From the back wall to flush with the seats down is 26 inches

I could cut into the floorboard for another half inch or quarter inch of space

Any ideas ?

I have my back seats

 

Box is built to 3 inches on top and bottom goes to 6.6 inches

 

subwoofer was about 275.00 amp was about 150.00 .......i built the box with a buddy of mine that knows jow to build subwoofer boxes

Okay that sounds sick only issue is is it behind your seats? Because in my 07 I have like 2' between the back of my seat and the frame

I didnt really know much going into this so I'm pretty sure I put it wrong I have 4 separate doors I'm not sure what it is I'm pretty sure it's a crew max tho

 

Is your rear door smaller than the front door or same size as the front ?
