Nice. What ham setup do you have. I was considering a Rugged setup with the Dirt Kartel 3rd brake light.

 

it's a yaesu ftm-400 with a comet sbb-1 antenna on a nmo mount in the center of the roof. the sbb-1 is short and flexible so it won't get yanked off by an errant tree branch...

 

Are you using public channels or are you a Ham Op? I typically stay on green and blue dot frequencies, but I'm not sure how popular those are out here.

 

yea, i've got my license. going on 10 years i think. keep meaning to upgrade to general but that's way down the priority list these days.

 

If you are planting them yourself, I would not buy from Nick's Garden Center. I have heard good things about the Tree Farm. I recently bought some trees from the Sprucery in Parker and planted them. The service was lacking on a slow day but I knew exactly what I was shopping for and they loaded them in the truck!

 

You take I25 to exit 235, and five miles west to the tree farm.

 

Now I will have this jingle in my head for the next 3 days!

 

We use Tagawa Gardens and they do install; but may be too far south for ya.

 

So I had to rip the Prestige 2 way alarm out of my truck before I left FL because the brain unit had gone bad. Who has decent work with good prices around here?

Also @COMiamiFan where did you get that BBQ grill that packs away flat from? I'm in the market for one and I remember yours been exactly what I'm looking for.

 

breckenridge will be your closest. look up the golden horseshoe trail system. trails offroad has them all listed. there's also keystone gulch, peru creek and a bunch of stuff beyond the end of the road at montezuma. not sure what's going to be clear of snow though.

did you get a recommendation for this? i'm looking for a shop as well. i've got to take the truck over to stevinson in the next week or so and was going to ask them for a recommendation.
