For those of you that swapped out the OEM shackles for ToyTec's (# 1 ) or CB's #2, I hope you saved your OEM shackles. My build thread is based upon the best value for the $$$. Need some nuke proof off road light mounts??? Your "no longer needed" BS OEM shackles have some life left...............( I saved the washers and nuts. One end could be attached to a aftermarket bumper for example. Would just need to purchase the proper bolts.)

Matt you get that bumper line-x. I'm definitely going that route. Tired of messing with plasta dip. Working on getting it off my grill surround, then I'm getting grill and my rhino step tubes bullet lined.

Plasti dip is for mall crawlers. IMHO. I've used it. Good for on road. Didn't hold up too well off road. Scratched up too easily. It's good for what it's designed for. For larger parts, like bumpers.....Paint it or line it. Or both.

I agree, fun while it lasted. It's still a great product, just need permanent in my life right now.

Picking up where I left off.........Self explanatory. I'm big on recycling. I may now have to add some decent cube LEDs now to make use of my new nuke proof "shackle" light mounts. Dang it...............

I just got back from my first full blown physical in over 9 years. Haven't been to the hospital/ER in decades for being sick. BP 118/86. Very good. (average for my age at 61...134/87) Still waiting for blood work results. SCARY thing is the DOC told me "What ever you are doing..keep doing it. ) Me..."OK"............ (I need to get some more beer after work.) :infantry::jellydance::jellydance::jellydance::jellydance::jellydance::jellydance:

Yeah, my Doc isn't real gung ho with the PSA test but my number was high enough to warrant further testing. There was no previous reference point since I haven't been to the doctor for years. The more I read up on PSA test the more ambiguous it is. No family prostate history, I have zero symptoms. Blood work was otherwise great. Cholesterol normal, liver normal (what????) :jellydance:Doc said don't sweat it. Sure.

Decided to spend some time messing around with my center grille supports. Both got slightly bent after hitting the pole. After I straightened them out I re-focused on my OEM shackle "light brackets". I had one leftover PIAA fog and mounted it on one of the brackets temporarily. Imagine a Baja Design cube in it's place..... (Where is that dang money tree???)

Almost every morning a few minutes after I get to work at 0500, I'll fire up a smoke before I go into the lab. Like clock work a dude in a black lifted Titan will pass buy and rev his cheap shit "Titan" stock exhaust to maybe impress me. Today after work, around 1430 this dude is stopped not far from my truck fiddle farting around. I get in my truck and start to pull away. He decides to move and cut me off at our parking lot exit. "WTF?" I followed him to the light just past our parking lot. He his revving his 5.6L 317 hp piece of Titan shit. "WTF?"......... I looked around........ No LEOs........ Sure enough he gunned it at green. I'm game. I went with it. Smoked his ASS!!! I'll be having a smoke tomorrow morning and I'll see if he has the balls to rev up his pussy Titan OEM exhaust as he drives by. He'll probably go around the other side of the complex so he won't see me mooning his sorry ass.

Love that story Matt. On the note of your PSA stuff. I still see my Oncologist every 6 months for labs and a BS session, cuz my labs have been clear for 4 years and we just talk about what's going on with my Tundra. Kinda think the doc feels bad taking my $40 co/pay and not talk about something. Anyway, last visit my wife says "hubbin is 4 years cancer free, 51 years old, start PSA screenings ?" My Doc too is not a big fan of the PSA screenings, ( to many false positives ). Says the #1 thing to do at 50 yrs old is the good ol colonoscopy. Not to go into great detail, but the colon health tells so much about the body. Not the end of the world getting it done. Highly suggest it for good piece of mind. Sorry to steer off Tundra Topics. Good luck with all Matt.......

I here you Lenny. I've got a colon screen scheduled too. I already have a lot of input concerning that PSA test to relate to my specialist that I'll be seeing Thursday AM. (Thought it was Friday, good thing I check my voice mails occasionally) I'm still in shock that my BP, liver, lungs, cholesterol was good to go for my age. Who Knew!!

Came across this Audi A8 test vehicle at during lunch. Wasn't camo'd and had Michigan plates . The exhaust was sealed off and there was cabling routed back into the (no doubt) on board computer. What's weird is there was a small Honda generator being used on the rear. :cookiemonster: I see weird shit like this all the time. Finally decided to get a pic.

Bad news first....My new top notch Doc did the "digital" probe test. (Never thought I'd get KY that way). Felt a lump or hard spot...........biopsy next Thursday. Good news........ I did my research. My doc has a 98% rating. Curriculum top notch. If you are 50......get the PSA test so you have a baseline/reference point.

Sorry to hear that crap Matt. On a positive note, sounds like you have a great doc, and catching these things early on is key. So many people ignore symptoms, and that's when things get tough. Hang in their my friend.......

Prayers to ya Mat. Going to the doc is the first step. A lot of men blow it off. I try to go twice a year. Definitely getting my anal probe when I hit 50,which is right around the corner.

OK....I hated doing home work back prior to WWII, exaggerating of course, I still help my grand kids do theirs. Still sucks. The last thing I'd do here is to ask any of you to do my home work. I'm pretty good about finding shit on the net. I've drawn a blank. I need to find another pair of PIAA fogs that I luckily got NIB off Denver Craig's List for $50 a pair. Bought two pair. Need another pair. Discontinued. Don't ask why yet. (A clue.. the best fogs you will find) Just do me a freaking favor and see if you can find another pair. What do you get............???? I'l let you drive my Tundra. Nobody drives my Tundra. I'll even show you a few spots to have fun here in CO.

Edit.... Best "old school yellow fogs that you will find".

Oh, I almost forgot.. I went to my local King Super earlier this evening. An older black gentleman pulled right up near the front entrance with his ride. Literally. Was wearing "colors" that had "Tuskegee Airmen" on the back.... a freaking nice INDIAN. :oldglory::oldglory::oldglory:(They were pilots. Some are apparently still alive and still know how to ride with the wind. Just sayin.)

Older sister called to let me know my brother in law is getting his 2nd colonoscopy tomorrow. Told her not to cook him a bean based dish tonight. Hoo Wee. Told her that a colonoscopy was #3 on my old age to do Bucket List after my #1 Lister prostate biopsy tomorrow . #2??? No I did not forget #2 on my Bucket List. #2 on the list is the self administered "Fleets" enema I have to do 2 hours before my biopsy. I can't wait..........:crapstorm:
Actually the "Fleets" is #1 now that I think about it............ Can't wait to see what #4 is going to be........
