Transmission filters and shift improvement

On the rock auto website it shows a sump filter and transmission filter. Do any of you replace your transmission filters or sump filters? They also have a shift improvement kit. Does anyone have it installed ?

 

I have heard about this and if im not mistaken, a good buddy of mine is looking into this for his 16'. Let me shoot him a message

 

Yes I recommend replacing it every time you perform a transmission service (ie fluid change) the pan gasket is reusable,

 

Thats good to know. I drain/refill the ATF, but have not thought to replace the filter in there.

 

I’m still looking for someone that will let me watch them change the fluid and filter with the fluid I provide no luck yet

 

Can you drain the torque converter too when you drain the transmission
