2016 Chrome SR5 grille and hood bulge

Hey guys, thanks for looking. I am a long time lurker, first time user of this forum! I hope to start my build thread soon and can't tell you how happy I am to ditch my 2014 Sierra for the tundra!

With that said, I am selling my 2016 SR5 chrome grille and hood bulge off my 2016 white tundra with 300 miles on it. only asking $150. Let me know if any one is interested.

Off topic but why did you ditch your Sierra? Came from a Silverado myself.

 

Issue after issue and Gm wouldn't stand by their product. The engine would shut off while driving and I couldn't afford to put my family in that position again. It was electronic and they were never going to find the real issue. So I asked if they would do a buyback and they declined quoting they fixed the issues. Two months later it did it again. Same old story. Finally took matters in my own hands and couldn't be happier.

Now if I can sell this grille, I will give the full story! Lol... Pretty good one which involves Gm approving buyback then disapproving for modifications.

 

Yeah I had a 2011 that burnt oil. Told me it was designed to burn a quart of oil every 2000 miles. Said NOPE and traded it in on my Tundra. Much better truck anyway.

I'll check back on this thread when you sell the grille. I'd like to hear the full story.

 

No joke, and GMC acted like I was complaining about some plastic molding. If I heard "its operating with in specs" one more time.....

 

Had great pleasure talking to GM customer service today... They were calling me to see how my experience went at the dealership and I got to confess my sheer happiness with my tundra. The rep was like, how is your truck functioning and I responded I don't know you'll have to ask the Toyota dealership. I waited for the woman to process what I was saying and then spent 15 minutes explaining why I enjoy my Tundra.

Unfortunately, I'm just a number and not much will change from my experience. They didn't care when I had my children in the car towing 5k lbs and the engine cuts off and they certainly don't care now that I trade in the vehicle. Oh well, in the past now.

Now back on track, do these grilles really ever sell? I'm trying to make a deal for someone because I would rather share then it sit in the garage. Thanks for the inputs.

They told me same thing and a timing chain broke and destroyed the engine and I had to fight GM for weeks to take care of it and replace engine! Now I'm toyota for life

If not, is it damaged in any way?

It is off a 2016 Tundra Crewmax SR5 (mine), not damaged in any way, all clips are perfect and you would think it is brand new. Yes, it's in the original Toyota box that my pro grill came in, (actually 2 boxes for bulge and surround) I work at a shipping company (not UPS) and i get my own discount. Let me do the measurements and see what 3 day shipping will cost, that way you can see if it's worth it to you. I'll PM you as soon as i find out, cool?

Yes, I am so sorry. I was out all day yesterday w/an ear ache which required me having to go to urgent care and have been down ever since. I will get the measurements tonight and try and get the shipping cost to PM you. I sincerely apologize, i know the waiting is frustrating.
