Thanks. I bought the replacement from Sparks. "Simple" snap in replacement, once you get to it. ;)

I replaced me silver one awhile back.
It was a bitch to get out.
Should have gotten a black one then..

I know if I replace the center, I'll have to replace the steering wheel panels, then the door handles, then paint the silver pieces on the doors..:eek2:

But it looks so much better blacked out...

Did same thing Saturday, also did the rago center counsel moly panels with a bridge. Was a bit of a pain but well worth it. I had the IFS(?) on the dash and just didn't like the look.

In that process now. Got a extra radio surround to color match and did the steering wheel panels and other trim. Now waiting on more paint to kill the rest of the silver in there.

Did you order the replacement parts for the steering wheel too?
    Aren't they like $350?

No, I took them off and painted them. Later I adding leather wrapped steering wheel cover so I got good at yanking them off.

Yeah, gawkers will be causing accidents soon...

That looks perfect. Even the silver trim around the stereo looks great.

Start when they're young...raise them right.

It's not the size of the spoon, but how you stir the soup. Or, so I'm told...

Installed some Cali Raised LED ditch light mounts and pods. Haven't wired anything up yet, and still trying to decide if I like the look or not... I may get the wires run and secured, then just mount the lights when I'm actually going to go off road/camping/hunting/etc. Anyone else do that, or do most just rock the ditch lights all the time?

First oil change today. The truck only has 700 miles on it but I've had it for almost 9 Months now, so i figured it was due. The oil was a lot dirtier than i thought it would be :eek2:, so I'm glad i decided to do it today. Also changed out the plastic filter housing for the aluminum one, and added a Fumoto drain valve. The MotivX tools worked great, especially the filter drain tool. All in all a pretty painless operation.
