    I know it's not the same situation, but in my experience, buying vehicles from friends or family can end up with someone upset with the other.

    When it comes to family they tend to get over it after awhile but with friends it can end that relationship forever. Kinda like when friends become roommates. They start to hate each other until the lease is up, lol.

    Is he a good friend? Cause if that truck happend to be prone to constant trips to the mechanics many ppl start to resent the friend they got it from.

    Just a thought ...... it’s always cheaper to keep what you have especially if you can do without all the tech ( just more things to go wrong ) . Ford will have to update the Raptor soon anyway with Ram and Chevy coming out with a Raptor fighter .

    Sorry for the late arrival... I was initially struggling while deciding between the Tundra and a Raptor. I did my normal routine... videos, forums (found this one), blogs, etc... lots of research over several months!!! At the end this phrase I read somewhere enlightened me... 'If you want eye candy go Ford, for reliability go Toyota' Down here the Raptor it's almost as twice the Tundra Limited Price... meh, went 1794 edition! Best decision ever...

    Neighbor sold his Raptor.
    $55k to an North LAdealership. He said annoying amount of interest from private buyers. Too many dreamers and losers wanting a test drive. Couple of serious buyers just financing issues got in the way. Between pandemic and looting n riots he wanted out ASAP.
    He owed $56k.
    Never confessed to what his monthly payment was...
