Best hot stuff is homemade salsa. That’s all I need. Throw it on everything

I agree. I am a huge fan of Asian cuisine. So the big red rooster is my favorite. As for Mexican food I just use a homemade salsa. I was just busting your guy's balls about the other hot sauces. :sorry::rofl:

Planned on grilling tonight. However my mother-in-law called and said she would like to watch the kids for us tonight. We are going out to eat at Fleming's tonight instead. They have a 35oz. Prime Tomahawk ribeye that will be calling my name. A side of lobster Mac n cheese and a fried pork belly appetizer will be consumed!

But until we go to Fleming's.... Some beef smoked sausages with some grilled onions and mustard on a bun is lunch for the family!

Some bone-in ribeyes. Had them on the pellet smoker for a little low-and-slow and then reverse seared on the gas grill with a compound garlic butter, and then finished on the smoker to a rare - medium rare.

I apologize, did not think to take a picture. Meal was amazing!!! Started off with French Onion Soup and Fried Pork Belly served over Goat Bheese Grits and a Fig Demi Glaze.

Then I threw in a wedge salad just for good measure.

I ordered the 35oz. Prime Ribeye and it was next level. Wife got the Filet and Lobster and added Shrimp Diablo to it. Off the charts good.

Sides we had Fleming's Potato's, Onion Rings, and Lobster MAC and Cheese.

Topped it off with their Ooey Gooey Chocolate Butter Cake.

I literally just ate left over Mac and cheese and filet for breakfast.

That was the first time we have been out and sat down at a restaurant since March. Our restaurants have been open since May 7. Yesterday was the first day that all restaurants could be at 100% capacity and back to normal. All attractions and scenic places opened to 100% so we are now completely 100% back to normal. We decided to get out and stimulate the economy and we sure did in a big way!

Yes it is alive and kicking! About 20 years ago when they had the fire it moved to downtown in the L&N train station. It went backwards and was not as good. Eventually they went back to their old location on Chapman Hwy. It also was okay at best for the longest time. The last couple years they have upped their game and it has been much better. It is back to having long waits in the weekend and pretty popular again. Their sides are much better now. Especially the wood shed potatoes. They are using better meat now and it is actually quite good. Not quite Ruth Chris but good. It use to be very over priced for what you got but they have grown in their price of a mid range steak restaurant. It is nostalgic and all time classic though!!!

My wife's family loves it and for special occasions it is where we go. It is pretty solid again.

It is going down!!! Got some family coming over so we are doing fajita night!!! Vegetables on the flat top, putting a slow smoke on the chicken at 180. I will crank up the grill and char it off in a little while. Have 10 pounds of chicken going down.

Have a spiced sour cream sauce with a little cilantro and cheese and it will hurt your feelings. My family requests it for every meal....

My wife makes the absolute best cheese dip out of Boars ahead white American cheese of all things. No rice, no beans, just straight kill some fajitas!!!

All of our family asks when I am doing fajitas also and want to come over....
