    That sucks but fortunately you don't have to replace the whole bumper like what happened on my 07. By the way....no security cameras? My local WallyMart has them all over the parking lot.

    Not necessarily..lots of folks with insurance still leave the scene to keep their insurance from going up. Probably more so than folks without insurance.....

    I’ll need to look it over but it seems like the hit broke/distorted the compression tab that holds the bumper in place. One tab for sure broke from the base.

    Yea you’re right, I’m going to pull that security cam footage and see her hitting the other guy.

    End result will be her losing tundra driving privileges and I’ll have her driving another Toyota vehicle, a Prius. Lol.

    Same thing happened to me twice the week that I brought my new one home!
    Sucks bad that there are dicks that big that only think of themselves and run.

    The Bumper is 3 main sections and those corners are a structural part inside and the painted cover on top of it.
    If the place that the corner attaches to the middle is borked too then the corner is not all that will need to be replaced but if the mounting points are OK you may be able to get away with just the corner?
    Either way a RC heavy duty bumper is probably about the same price I bet and a lot tougher too as long as you like that look.

    Sorry it happened to you too.
