Hey guys! I have already posted a few and read a bunch but wanted to say Hi!

I bought a 2006 Titan LE Crew Cab brand new in '06. The only thing that kept me from the Tundra at the time was the molded floor storage under the rear seat. The Titan's floor was nearly flat when the rear seat was raised. I needed the flat floor.

After 235k miles and 14 years, I bought a new 2020 1794 Silver Sky Metallic 4x4 Tundra - and yes, the floor is a lot flatter than in '06! I made the down payment in early March, and FINALLY (thanks to COVID) was able to take delivery last Saturday! I want to give a shout out to Milton Martin Toyota in Gainesville, GA. They made it worth my while to drive over 5 hours one-way for this truck! Great deal and great service!

I'm not big into customization, but I do have a few options and a couple of add-ons on the way. I have the 1794 Edition with:
    Rear TRD Sway Bar
    Rear USB ports
    Wireless charging tray
Black badging (looks great on the silver truck)
    Cargo bed LED lights
    Black Running Boards
    Spray-in Bedliner
    Front step/skid plate

I have ordered the Undercover Swing Case (driver's side) and the Peragon black hard tonneau cover. I have also ordered the TRD Pro Dcab All Weather Floor Liners and the tray for the center console (why is this not included?!?).

I would like to get some black wheels (stock size) to complete the silver/black theme of the truck. I just didn't want to pay Toyo's prices for the black wheels. Suggestions are welcome!

Welcome. You might be able to find some used TRD Pro wheels if you like that look. Also, don't hold back on sharing a picture of your new truck!

Hello and welcome from S.W. Oregon, I'm just an old guy with a 2007 SR5 DC, I appreciate every Tundra I see and wouldn't mind having aftermarket bumpers and different wheels other than the stock steel ones, they tend to collect water in what I consider not a good thing which is around the valve stem. Other than that it's a solid work truck that I've put my share of scratches on, bought it with 244,000 miles, in the test drive it shifted great and the engine ran like a new one, I'd been wanting a V-8 hotrod before my driving days are over and this Tundra takes care of that wish, big time. I'm sure you'll be happy with your new truck, my older, new to me Tundra puts a smile on my face every time I sit behind the wheel.

    How was the Titan?
One of my neighbors has one and is always complaining . I think his is 2012 or 13. Seems like something goes wrong with it every few months. He wants to sell it.

My Titan was pretty reliable. The only issues I had were the A/C unit - fixed twice under warranty, then once afterward, the starter which had to be replaced at about 150k, and the rear end had to be rebuilt at about 200k. The rear end was partly my fault - I didn't change the oil enough. LESSON LEARNED!

And the paint was like every other Nissan before 2014. Sucked.

Generally a trouble free truck other than those issues.

Reminder - those issues were spread out over 14 years!
