Nice! Doesn’t look like you loose much bed space. That’s why I like the roll up ones cause you get to use most of bed space with out taking it off.

I bought mine a few hours ago from Tonneaucovers.com and did just that. Got the cover for $200 less than the realtruck.com and autoanything.com prices.

Did you have to relocate the accessory rails? Or do they stay tucked up under the bed rail?

Hey Sean. I noticed in your picture you have the accessory bedrails relocated lower. Do they feel more flimsy now that they’re on a Z bracket?

I think they are okay. I don't really recall how they were before the cover. I will say that the weak point seems to be the tiedown things that mount on the rails whenever I strap something down.

I don’t have the rails in this truck. But the option of dropping them was offered upon purchase.

Thanks. I hang a water tank from mine and I’m a little worried about it flopping around too much.

    Chewey,

Other than trimming the brackets so they would fit into the existing rail system, did you have to do anything other than the installation videos/installation instructions called for?

Thanks! I didn't even know about the Peragon, but I really like it. I just don't want to lose my rail and tie down system!

Just trimming the metal brackets, then the installation videos are exact. If you like I can take more pics of mine. Let me know what views you would like to see.

With mine, I really like that when I collapse it, it's in the bed. But then I can remove it. The only thing... if you want to open the Peragon like halfway on the bed, there might need to be a clip or something preventing it from opening all the way. But as of right now, I haven't seen a need for that, but it's possible.

Awesome! Thanks for the quick response! Actually, if you can get close ups of each of the brackets as installed it would be very helpful. It may be obvious how to cut them but I have only seen the 2 seconds of close up that's in the video you shared. I plan to order mine tomorrow.

And did you leave the the down cleats in the rails between the clips for the cover? That's what I plan to do. And they could potentially be used to sandwich the Peragon at any point of open or closed that you want. Just an idea that you might could test.

I have been waiting for my Tundra for over two months. I paid the down payment in early March. Then COVID hit before the truck made it to the dealership, and I just was able to pick it up last Saturday.

    Thanks again for your help!

Why do kids love a truckbed so much? Probably the same reason I do if I had to figure.

I will get a close up pic... it's raining now... I will try by tomorrow. I cut my brackets with a metal sawsall blade, in my sawzall and it went pretty quick.

    Pic time..

OK, it's rained .40 of an inch today and I took a pic of the little bit of water that got in. I think some of that was when I opened the tonnue cover.

And now for the brackets, the 2nd pic up above show the 3 brackets on that side. And now the close up of the brackets.

Got 'em! Thanks! This will help a lot! I got mine ordered and asked the Peragon guy about doing it this way. He basically said they aren't planning to create a set of brackets that will work with the rails. I wonder how many sales they're losing because of Tundra owners who don't want to remove their rails and don't see these posts?

I had the rough country cover on my 16 pro & got this “Tyler” one from Amazon. Both were Like $200 I believe. I wanted something functional but that I could also remove entirely & quickly & I’ve been completely happy.

OH.. The one thing I forgot, that I just remembered.. I had to had an extra washer on the bolt that goes in the bracket. Reason being, the bolt is too long and hits the backside of the railing. I hope that makes sense?
