2007-2013 Toyota Tundra XB LED Headlights

I still haven't gotten a reply to any of my questions to Headlight Revolution either.

 

Yeah I emailed sales with no reply yet. They haven't been on the forum today either.

 

Yeah, so its either get the DRLs running full bright all the time, or get the parking lights always on without dimming DRLs.

I think it's all an integrated unit that detects when any type of parking light or headlight goes on and dims the DRL. Bummer. I like running it when its cloudy but I don't like having no tail lights given the way people drive now a days.

 

Yeah I would prefer full brightness too. Maybe someone will be able to figure it out. Hell I would be happy with a shipment notification to start with.

 

Is this still going on? Ive been thinking about these for a few weeks.

 

I don't know if you guys are serious, but that seems borderline insane to expect products have been shipped when you ordered one or two business days ago. Especially with all the shit going on, dude having a huge order, Memorial Day weekend coming up, etc. Lately I've been happy if anything ships within a week. My $.02, but chill out lol

 

I don’t necessarily expect them to have shipped, however an estimate to the question as to when isn’t unreasonable. $100 item I could care less, $700+ a slightly different story.

 

Yes it is. HR said it will go for a week, but may push out to 2 weeks but will be the last one for a while.

 

Do I just state that I want in on this group buy on this thread?

No, you just click on the link to go to their site, add them to the cart, and then enter TUNDRACREW where it says add coupon. Somewhere during that process you sign up for an account.

 

I almost bought these 3 different times in the last week. Glad I saw this thread

 

I placed one order on the 13th. Awaiting shipment.

I placed another order on the 14th. It will be delivered tomorrow by 9pm.

It's one thing when you place an order and are told that it won't ship for 10 days.

It's another thing when you place an order and you hear nothing.

It's about communication and setting expectations. That's all. Communication has nothing to do with whatever is happening.

Example: HR stated that they are doing this group buy for us and there will not be another one for a while. Clear message and we know what to expect. That's what I'm talking about.

I feel like a jerk whenever I'm posting in this thread.

 

I already had an account. It s when I filled out the payment info I saw the coupon code box. When I entered it it stated the 20% discount.

I saw these and thought about picking them up.

Also, my delivery is next Tuesday 5/26 . I blame it on CA.

 

Personally, I would not buy anything pre-cut. It's a lot easier to install protective film when it's a sheet.

At the price of these lights, I want them to outlive me lol. I'll have to take pics with the Vleds output and compare it to the XB's just to justify the cost to myself lol.

 

Have you seen the high beam output shots of the Morimoto? I would hate to spend that much money to have such a disappointment in the high beam pattern.
