    I would have to disagree.

Sevendust hands down. Best live band hands down.

To me, if you were young when the Beatles arrived it was so unique it made a big impact compared to listening to them years later when many great bands have expanded rock and roll even more. It's like when driving a car without power brakes and steering was fine until power assist came along and it seemed amazing. Grow up with only power assist and it doesn't seem so special.

The Beatles. I didn’t get them early on in life...I was too busy listening to Led Zeppelin (Jimmy Page is pretty much the reason I play guitar for a living). I just thought their music was either “cute” (Yellow Submarine) or drug-induced nonsense (I Am The Walrus). But I revisited their catalog in my late 20s...went down the rabbit hole so to speak...and I am now of the opinion that they were the greatest, most groundbreaking, most influential, and most timeless band of all time. The vocals, the writing, the playing (my defense of Ringo is an entirely different unpopular opinion), the recording techniques...all of it is just incredible.

Pop music songwriting, the analog recording process—the way things have been done by those who came after was influenced more by the Beatles than anyone else. Do I enjoy other bands’ music from that era more? Yes. But I “get” why people freak out over the Beatles. Their legacy is undeniable. What’s funny is none of their solo careers ever came close to measuring up to the Beatles’ catalog.

Also, John Lennon was on many occasions a garbage human being, and Imagine is a garbage song.

Agreed, but no one has made a rock album that has beat Superunknown since its release in 1994.

Overlanding absolutely requires a 3rd world nation and you must be many miles from the nearest pavement.

Driving by the gift shop in Yellowstone doesn't count.

The worst thing about Oasis is if I accidentally hear 1 second of one of their songs on the radio, I'll be laying awake for 3 days listening to it repeat over and over in my head.

I like a lot of rock from the 90s but I think the Foos are the only ones that are still active.

Beatles are far better than the stones, this isn't even debatable, the stones are better in no metric at all.

I never could get into Rush. Lots of respect for those dudes, but I think I’m all done trying to like their music.

Also, Cream, the Police, Nirvana—all better 3-man bands than Rush.

The only thing that I can say here is that Rush ALWAYS performed as a trio. Not so with Nirvana (which I do like).
