What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

How do you like your flares? Was considering adding them myself.

 

They cover just enough that 275/70 R18 tires on a +20 rim barely peek. Love the look.

 

Bought this at my local dealership and took it apart to paint all of the chrome black.

 

Found some rub under my fender flares so I fixed it. $100 worth of rhino liner. Some new rubber gaskets and all better. Hardest part was getting the gaskets on the flares!

 

So I was thinking of painting my grill black to match the rest of the truck. Then I saw on eBay a gloss black grill insert to cover the sx/platinum grill for $99. I figured. If it’s a piece of shit. I’ll eat the $$ and throw it in the trash. Anyhow. It looks Awsome. Snaps in. Fits well.

 

Sick truck man! Are those stock headlights? They look to have a darker tint to them...

thanks! They are the 2019 TRD Sport lights. Came standard on it. I liked the look and they work great.

 

New rims on.

 

I’ve got a 2019 sport too, maybe it’s the angle that they look darker. Either way, looks nice.

Another.. I like how it raises the truck just by changing the rims. Will go to more aggressive tires in a few years when I get it lifted, but really liking the change for now..

 

Received TRD center caps in the mail today. I will be picking up powder coated wheels later.

Can anyone comment on this? The center caps “TRD” logos look maroon rather than red to me. These are the older style Pro caps.

I do like chrome. The front of my truck was too chrome when I bought, that's why I put the black honeycomb grill in it.

I also like the color matched, but those are everywhere.

 

Thank you sir. Honestly, if mine was white, it would definitely be color matched, but black and chrome go together like peanut butter and jelly.

Put in my Pop N Lock on. Switched up the wires as the instructions have you unlocking the tailgate when you lock the truck and vice versa. No big deal to switch them around.

 

Yes, I'll be honest, I would never buy a blue truck. But there is a member on here that has a blue one, it's definitely badass. Everytime he post a pic of it, I have to wipe the drool off my chin.
