We’ll see. I’ve got a pretty sweet setup, but I’ve got a harness, ballasts, splitters etc. be nice to clean it all up.

Yes, so yours is working opposite of what it should also. As you go down in number the lights should raise.

Holy crap....you can drive on DRLs alone. They should outperform Vleds Micros in stock housings as I'm hearing.

Headlight Revolution - Tried completing my order just now and noticed sales tax was just added on that was not there originally when I was about to complete my order. Is this an error or do you have a physical location in Hawaii now and that is why sales tax was just added?

Only if the business has a physical presence in Hawaii or if they have done over $100k in business in our state that year (ex. Amazon, etc). It is odd because I was about to submit payment Wednesday, but was awaiting response to confirm only the headlights qualify for the 20% off and there was no line item for taxes. Now when I go back in to complete the order today the price went up and added taxes.

As @TheBeast said, some states will charge tax. I had to pay tax as well. I'm just happy that we did get the 20% off.

Does anyone know how to keep the DRLs at max brightness even with parking lights on? I want to run the parking lights (which include tail) in cloudy weather but don’t want the DRLs to dim when I switch to parking lights.

Do they dim with parking lights as well or when you turn the headlights on? I'm asking because I haven't received mine yet....just ordered them last week.

Could be as simple as a small rewire. It prob ties the dimming feature in with a lead to the parking light, all you’d have to do is wire to the 12v of the headlight function not the parking. I’ll look when I get mine.

That’s odd, I wonder what it’s moniotoring that tells it it’s in park or drive. Maybe it’s going off the original truck drl signal

I sent an email to Morimoto asking the question. I have V6 Tritons from Vleds and they don't dim until the actual headlights are turned on. I don't know why these would dim just by turning the parking lights on.

My drl’s are disabled at the relay, don’t you run a lead that’s fused to the ignition fuse in the fuse box?

The DRLs dim when you switch from no headlights to parking lights or low beam. I tried re-wiring the fuse tap they give you for the DRLs to another circuit in the fuse box and then I also tried the anytime fog light mod except for the parking light/tow light relay, but that just meant the DRLs were perma-dim.

Thanks for all the input everyone! I hope we can figure out a solution so that we can run the amber side markers with the bright DRLs.

Does the connector from the DRL on the OEM headlight connect to the turn signal on the XB's? That connector has the dimmer circuit.

It sounds like they dim in parking and headlight mode where traditional DRLs dim when you turn on the headlights. He is trying to figure out how to keep them at full brightness. The DRL connector on the truck has the dimmer circuit but with the XBs being 2 separate circuits, it will take one of the smarter wiring gurus to figure it out. If I'm thinking correctly, once the DRL connector on the truck is plugged into the turn signal connector on the XBs, that dimmer circuit is "unused".

Same here. I emailed this morning but no reply yet. I did ask Morimoto about the DRL dimming in park. They dim in both park and low beam. I asked if there was a way to keep full brightness in parking mode. They will probably say no I'm sure lol.

I can’t even get an answer as to when the ship times are estimated at. Cash has cleared my bank however.
