    Photo2265.jpg Just acquired a '17 Tundra longbed lease return with 14K miles. Replaces a '03 4Runner with 440,500 miles.

I frequently tow in the winter, and trying the usual load, going from 100% of tow capacity with the runner to ~50% with the Tundra is fantastic.

Biggest change: I think the runner would fit inside the wheelbase of the tundra.

Around Austin, I don't see long beds like that, rather rare. Nice find.

That 4.0 does really work hard doesn't it? Especially the VVT-i units.

I borrowed a friends with the VVT-i, it pulled a 4000 trailer load like it could not Feel it with A/C on going 75 all the way.

Now of course the 5.7 won't feel it At All. Luck and Enjoy!

I might have bought another 4runner if they still came with the 4.7 V8, it did OK with the power, but at times the tail wagged the dog. I think I will miss the 19 mpg I averaged with it (since day 1) on daily drives. I decided if I was going to get a pickup, I wanted to be able to put full sheets of plywood in it. And not use the utility trailer as much.
