    Hey guys!
    Soon to be a nee Tundra owner here! Been lurking here for a while and thank you for yall contributions which lead me to drink the koolaid from ford and ram owner!

    i leased a tundra sr5 cloth seat through us bank, am wondering if i should put some aftermarket leather to avoid getting dinged when returning in 2yrs and the comfort meanwhile.

    any inputs will be greatly appreciated!

    will post pick of the MGM once i got it!!

    You won't get your initial investment back on a lease vehicle.
    Just take care of it for 2 years.

    And I agree about not upgrading anything unless you’re keeping it.

    Removing Clazzios easy? No way in hell. It took me 2 days to install them and there's no way they are coming off without damage. They are so skin tight. Sounds like a nightmare. With that being said, so does a lease. Literally the most expensive way to operate a vehicle.

    Hard, not really hard, but removing them is going to be harder. The leather shrinks up a bit and conforms to the seat. If you think getting them on is a B, try removing them after 2 years of sun exposure. Hardest part is the headrests.

    They come off easier then they go on trust me lol I’ve taken them off twice now. They stretch out from sitting in them And I just shipped the head rests off to get embroidered.

    It doesn’t look like you’ll be spending a ton of time in it. Nice seat covers will cost way more than any penalty from wear and tear. I’d buy something really cheap and just use them when you know they are going to see some wear.

    Honestly I feel like leasing is a waste of money, you are throwing money in the trash and getting very little in return! Don't forget to calculate in whatever the fee is for any extra miles you put on it, and any scratches and wear and tear.

    I would suggest buying, if you can, instead! That lease sounds WAY to good to be true, so I would read that fine print carefully!
