Yeah, I love that rack concept, But I carry every tool it needs because it often requires tightening more than once per trip.

Yeah, I’ve never seen those ones you have in person, but I have the adjustable rack. Neat design, parts delivered direct from 3 different vendors, poor assembly instructions. And I’ve had the Allen head screws back out more than a few times.

Cool you got all that put together in time for your trip. Have a great time!

Was pretty easy. Just had to slide tent over. Tweak the trays a little. And flip one of em for handlebar room. Won’t be permanent. Just to get back to SF and prob back to la.

No vacation. Just headed back home for a week to relax a bit, away from the lady’s family. Then back to la and hopefully hit some dirt with you fellas!

For any who are interested, I'll be heading to Big Bear this Sunday the 17th of May. Meetup at 0730 in Running Springs.

Here's the route I'm thinking of for now (San Bernardino National Forest MVUM link):

    • Green Valley Lake Road
    • 3N16
    • 3N14 (Coxey Road)
    • 4N16 (Coxey Road)
    • 3N17 (White Mountain)
Suggestions are welcome! We'll see where we are on time after that if more trails are to be done. Let me know if you want to go.

    Going: @computeruser6

    Tentative:

I'm trying to be near White Mountain by 0900. If we all meet up in Running Springs at 0730 (I just changed the meetup time in the post) it's what I'm hoping for anyway. What are your thoughts on the route I'm thinking of?

Oh your route is good, depending on the trucks it'll be fast.

I'll be camping on the south side of the lake and I'll probably roll out about 9 or 10 after breakfast. I'd like to meet up with you guys but sounds like you'll be doing an early day and my sry ass will probably be hung over hahaha
