Aftermarket key fobs

    2015 Tundra Crewmax
    My wife ordered a pair of aftermarket key fobs off Amazon, as we only got one fob when we bought our Tundra. After she attempted to program them before I got off work, and I tried once after I got home, I'm thinking they may need more programming than we can do by opening/shutting door a dozen times LOL.

    Anyone have advice on whether we need some cables, software, etc, or is this going to turn into an expensive trip to the dealership an hour away? TIA

    Get some ajt key fobs! It uses your existing fob internals so no need to reprogram.

    I also got 1 set. Got extra fobs and keys on Amazon, cut the keys at Home Depot and programmed both with ease using TechStream software

    I was going to try Batteries Plus for a second fob for the wife's 4Runner; supposedly a lot cheaper than the dealer.
