What’s the wire that looks like it’s going into the cone?
And the two posts with power wires on the top of the box?

    Just curious. Thanks!

The wire just a bent ground for the train horn. I straightened it up.

The posts are the connections for the terminals on the speaker.

    Ok good!
You put all that work in and didn’t want to see it slack off on the tiny details.

    Looks good

Amazing I also found one on FB Marketplace that is a near perfect color match!:monocle:
Mine is a 2nd Gen top on a 3rd Gen truck too! Just an 1-1/2" gap at the cab so a simple fix though.

OK it was $100 and should be OK when I bedline it black!:D

Went fishing, she was looking good. Dropped an AFE dry filter in while waiting on my exhaust.

Is it possible to drop the rear with different shocks? I'd like to drop it only 2 inches or so.

I guess that you could mount the leaf packs under the axle, and then use a shackle that is about 1.5" longer than what comes with the lowering kit. Mine uses the bottom hole on the supplied shackle, and that location drops the bed 3.25". the further up the shackle you attach the leaf spring, the further down it draws the bed.

@Rex Kramer is most familiar with lowering the rear. But like he described, the springs determine the ride height, not the shocks.

I second the sos kit. It’s a very good route to go.

I'm so close to getting a kit. Only problem is once you add airbags and compressor it gets pretty expensive.

the rear leaf flip is like 400$. Your stock shocks work with the 2” drop. You don’t need air bags unless you really want em.

I’m just running the flip kit. Nothing else

Anyone have a stock exhaust for a 2007? Got a bamuffler 8" dumped that has too much drone. Like an idiot I let the shop keep my old system. Now I need to send back the BAM and need exhaust for a month. Plus I need a tailpipe. If you do, throw me a price for it.

Also, I'm willing to sell my system if interested. $650, been on my truck 3 days. Stainless steel

    Sos 2/4 drop

I enjoy driving it more now than having my 6 inch lift

Im getting older...my knees hurt and having a six inch lift was not enjoyable anymore. The great thing with the SOS is its really similar to stock comfort...

Im happy with the change and glad i done it. Just finding street rims and tires are a pain because of our bolt pattern.

I managed to remove the unsightly, once clear stone shields from the front of the short bed. Some old adhesive remains to be cleaned off later, but the truck looks so much better with the shields removed.

    Does anyone own a 2011 to 2013 RCSB with a 5.7L that is 2WD?
