So I had went with the true duals with 10 series Flowmaster and black tips. After about a month I did notice the kick was gone at take off and a little less msg, but God did I love the sound as you guys heard in my in cab recordings.
    I decided to I have a x pipe installed.....

Well the power is back and just 15 mins of driving my mpg is already going up...

But i lost that sound I had...

But it is more of a performance Mustang sound now instead of the cackling loud sound but still sounds mean.

The x pipe really does help.

Good review man. This will help me with my exhaust decision.
You should post a sound clip here without the x pipe and with the x pipe. Good comparison.

Yeah the x pipe makes it a little more quiet. Let us know if the kick is still there after a few hundred miles. Just curious. I had the x pipe built into mine up front, but I'm convinced it would have been a dog without it.

X-pipe is the way to go if you have true dual exhaust, PERIOD.

Do you know much about this plastic dip for wheels and badges if it worth it or not. Thanks Tommyboy123

I've never used plastidip on anything. Anytime I've blacked anything out, I take it off and paint it. But it seems a lot easier to dip. If you do just make sure you get enough coats on it.

I would never plastidip my wheels though. If I didn't like them I'd sell and buy new ones.

I'd it's not the stock cai with a stock paper filter, that probably only made your truck lose more low end tq. What CAI did you install?
