Yesterday I heard a huge pop when opening my passenger door. Now the door swings close without any resistance. I can tell where the noise is coming from. I took apart the door panel to see if anything broke inside but couldn't really tell. I also noticed a missing screw from the hinge. Anyone have any thoughts? Can I replace this part and how easy is it? Thanks in advance.

That's the door check, looks like you need a new one. Keeps the door from over opening, and gives you a bit of resistance when opening.

Simple repair, remove trim panel, brace the door so it won't swing open, remove door check, slide new one in. Less then an hour.
