    I am the proud new owner of a 1UR-FE out a Tundra but would like to hook it up to a manual transmission. I cant seem to find anything online about a manual that hooks up to the motor and thought I might ask this forum. Any advise or help would be awesome

    @ViktorG.

    Cursory research on the internet indicates the 1UR-FE engine has never been used with a manual transmission. You should go back and see if the transmission is still available.

    The 1UR-FE debuted on high-end Lexus luxury cars where manual transmissions are in little demand. Later, Toyota replaced the 4.7L in their trucks with the 4.6L 1UR-FE, but never using a manual transmission. The last Tundra with a manual transmission was first generation (2006). I couldn't determine if it's application was limited to the V6.

    Tacoma still has a manual transmission for the V6, but from what's on the internet, it doesn't have a great rep as a transmission. The torque rating for that transmission is probably too low for gear-slamming behind the 1UR-FE. Gen1 Tundra and Tacoma are your best bet for cross-over parts that will bolt-up to make the conversion. I'm doubtful the result will yield satisfaction even if it's possible.
