Alright guys i cant get my horn working. Replaced them with new factory horns hoping for the best and no luck. I now have my steering wheel totally apart i jusy cant get it off to look at wires, clock spring etc. Any ideas how to get the steering wheel off or what, could be causing my problem?

The few threads I've read of people pulling off their steering wheel used a steering wheel pulling tool.

They're not too expensive. Usually like $15. You can probably rent one for free from Autozone.

The horn mounting surface is free of corrosion or anything else right?

    That is the ground.

No.. I have diagnosed enough of them.. horn, air bag, steering wheel controls go-to shit.. not just Toyota ,GM ,ford, honda and Mercedes I have worked on.

I thing I tell people it holds true to my 95 Tacoma still has the original clock spring. Always always when parking the vehicle keep the steering wheel straight. That keeps the spring relaxed.

Please disconnect the battery to do the airbag.. it's not hard you can rent a tool for puller for the wheel.
