Almost sold truck twice. But couldn't do it.

    Also dont overlook a single cab swb 4x4 f250 diesel. Great fuel mileage and all the power you would need. Plus better towing and payload for camping, and pulling other people who are stuck. Plus they're really easy to work on. It comes in a manual as well.

    +1 For both Samurai and 90s Cherokees...Owned both. Small, cheap and easy to maintain. Samurai was my DD in college. Sucked on highway, like 58mph tops with a tailwind, drafting behind a semi, no joke.

    Samurai, tracker, sidekick.
    My first vehicle was a 92 tracker and I later got a 96 sidekick. Neither ever left me stuck. My dad has multiple samurais he loves them so much.
    With that said, good luck finding one that's not rusted out or way over priced.
