Now that Mike is no longer with Auto Anything...does anyone on here have hook ups with Method Wheels?

If you can score 20% off, take it!

    @porkitt
Method is tough, there are slim margins on all wheels and Method could out deal AA when they ran the 15% off sales.

bbwheels was a great spot to price match, same with sketch places. If you can find them for a deal elsewhere you can still call or chat in and score a deal

Yea I will eventually end up with a switchpros and some lights but have zero idea what I’m doing.

still trying to find a tent first thing.
    And down for wheeling whenever!

as far as brakes, I think they resurfaced the rears, and gave me new rear pads. Next time around I’ll prob swap everything out for new new and upgraded.
Warren you can help me with that to ;)

I pay well in humor, beers, pizza, and whatever you charge

Excellent question. There was a code, "Wilkey", as in Blake Wilkey. Don't know if it's still working 'cause there's the "together" deal that's everywhere.

Brakes are not a problem but the aforementioned Mike who no longer works AA was my brake parts guy. But he's a great guy, even when he worked at AA, if there was a better price elsewhere he'd let me know. I'm sure he can point ya in the right direction for brakes.
FYI, RTTs have been know to take to the air when strapped to the truck of an aggressive off road driver,,,,,,,, a friend told me. A lot of guys are now using cot tents.
If you go with an RTT most of them need to have the floor reinforced (extra bolts through the framing) and upgraded bar clamps. for attachment.

by no means am I an aggressive off-roader. I just hit a dip fast one or two times ;)

if the tent is on, it would just be trails and stuff. Fast paced but nothing crazy bumpy I wouldn’t think.

I saw this rig at the Sandtoys Supershow awhile back. Right before he shipped it to Dubai or somewhere in the ME. The SDPD were trying to confiscate it for evidence!

Nothing to do with holding flash lights and taking pics of the rack swap I'm sure :fistbump:

Also yes - @typeone if you've got brake questions I didn't suddenly lose my knowledge or anything lol. Happy to help you! I still have friends there, so might be able to get someone on the hook for hook ups

Man I love this place. Okay so in other words if I get a RTT, the fast pace and camping have to be separate. Meaning when I’m going out to camp it’s just trail driving and stuff.

orrrr if I have with y’all then the tents gotta be at home

@osidepunker and @KevinK both have RTTs and it works for them. I have a cheap Smittybilt one and every time I got home I'd find nuts and bolts missing. Heck, I was losing nylocks somehow. I never got around to trying loc tite on it, just put it aside for family camping.

Hmmm okay. I’ll have to see what those guys do. Granted I don’t have much of a garage. Or storage. I can’t really keep it anywhere. Meaning I’d like to keep it on full time no matter what I do.

second note, truck pulls to the right and wobbles around 50. Gonna take it back tomorrow and have it aligned and make them fix whatever they screwed up. Truck was driving fine after my adventure before I brought it in.
