So my truck was delivered the day before I left for work for two weeks. Drove it the afternoon it arrived and the morning on the day I left. My wife liked riding in the truck, but said it was way to big for her drive and she didn't want any part of driving it. Fantastic - a win win in my book.

Fast forward to today, I'm heading home from the east coast and suggest to her to pick me up at DEN with the truck. Figured it would be good for it as its sat for two weeks, plus I wanted to drive it. Wife says she really doesn't want to, I tell her come on, it's pretty much all highway anyway.

So I land and call her to check her location, and she's says she's in traffic but getting off I-25. Then came "I love this truck, you may have to get me one". Rut ro...I think I screwed up...

Ditto on the Rut Ro......You did screw up ! On the positive side, my wife likes to drive my truck, but her car is nicer than mine so I don't have your issue. Go buy her a new purse and pair of shoes and call it a day !

Just remove the steps and lift it just enough so she can't get in. :p

I don't see a problem here. 2018-2019 is just around the corner.

Might be a new model to test out while the wife drives your old, her new Tundra while you test out the new design for quality assurance.

Use that to your benefit. Sell her on the ideas on of how much better it will be with some mods! That way she'll give you the OK to spend some cash.

Super.....mine is now interested in a 4Runner.....she's decided her QX80 is to big - but likes the Tundra - and now thinks a 4Runner would be "the perfect size for her"...

    Women...

The big guy upstairs sure did look after them by giving them that wonderful gizmo...otherwise...meh, nevermind.

Too funny. I have been seeing quite a bit of women driving Tundra's in my area lately.

My wife has been looking at 4runners ever since she drove my Tundra. She loves the height but think the tundra is toone big so she said she will settle for a 4runner...I guess the wife gets a 4runner

My wife doesn't like the height of the Tundra either but once she is in the driver's seat, it all hers.
