Mounted some new lights today; not sure how I'm feeling about the gap in the middle -- it's supposed to be where I'll mount my GoPro.

The middle 4 are spot patterns pointed straight on and the outer 2 are driving patterns pointed slightly down. I'll probably have to adjust them after seeing how they work with all bed all loaded up with gear.

Debadged today, dont know wether to black them out or just leave off! I wonder if I sand them down a bit and prime and paint them matt black would they last longer then plasti dip!

used spider-x fishing line, blisters peeling sticky backing and helped with the heat gun!

Humm.. all the ones on Amazon have bad to average reviews. Most say they are for the Tacoma, I'd guess they will fit, huh?

A lot of people on the 4Runner forum and I think even Tacoma one use the ARB ones and sometimes they have group buys. I got mine from eBay and had no issues for like $14 but like I said it's from China.

Yeah, think I'll just go with the AOB ones, as they seem to know what they are doing. $28, no biggie. The other ones just seem to sketchy and I dont want to order something and it not fit or work well.

@TTU19 do you want the back-up lights to be switched only or do you want them to come on automatically when the truck is put in reverse. If you want them to turn on automatically in reverse and switched on, you will need a 3 position switch SPDT (on-off-on)

Here is a switch body if you want a rocker switch - I believe this is larger than the blank plates though
    https://otrattw.net/SPDT-ON-OFF-ON/

Riged also make a back-up light wiring harness that has a simple round 3 position switch, runs $50-60

Yes I want them to come on when in reverse, or when I switch them on. I've been told I can do it that way with a standard switch, but have to use a diode to the reverse lights.

Well I ordered my switches and since it was a flat shipping cost, I ordered one for a front LED light bar as well. I guess that will be my next purchase. Gotta find a light bar to go in the front grill space just above license plate. Anyone have any suggestions?

Yes. thanks, Dan. I pulled the trigger today and bought one. It was $200 shipped ($50 off). Then, I paid $10 more for all black rivets.

Now I need to figure out how I'm going to attach my front view camera.

I used the "air onboard" blue that Chris mentioned for my front camera. It fits and works great.

At the dealer getting it aligned now. The oversteer since I installed the new control arms is brutal and I'm rubbing bad when I turn. Hoping this will clear everything up and I can enjoy my Toytec kit!
