Finally adding a hidden light bar. I've wanted one for a long time. Still mid project, had to hang it up for the night.

Haven't visited in awhile. I just spent 2 weeks and 700+ pages catching up on this thread. Cool to see all the mods and got a few new ideas from everyone. Nice to see the people here are still awesome!

That grill is apart of the XSP-X package for southeast trucks. They were offered thru 14-16 models I believe. I love it on my XSP-X package.

I put in some Bilsteins 5100 at top setting a day ago on a 17 DC 2wd. I do think I have a small lean but I think some rear shackles should level me out. Just don’t know if I should put in 1” 2” inch shackles?

I was wondering where the hell using wood heating saved $700/month (!!) and then I saw where you lived. We're blessed enough to live in an area where running two heat pumps (regular one and a mini-split for our addition) during the winter *might* break $200, but still, every bit helps.

The issue I have is that my day job is as an IT guy working for the government. Everyone assumes IT guys "just sit there", and everyone *knows* that gov't employees don't do anything, so according to most, I don't do anything, ever. I sure wish my boss and my daily schedule got that memo.

I totally understand and know how much work cutting 7 cords of wood is. Been there, done that, doing it, and y'all have my respect. (Hell, one or two cords of wood isn't anything to sneeze at!) Grew up helping my dad cut wood - the hard way! - and had the pleasure (heh) of driving miles of fence posts into our family's farm in Georgia. If you've ever been to Georgia and seen the soil there you KNOW how much work that is, between the shale and that 'Joja' red clay.

On the 17 and below you do for sure. I think on the 18 and up, you don't have too.

Yeah it's plenty secure even without those 6 clips. For added measure I used some double sided outdoor heavy duty 3M tape.

Done. In all honesty, it's not that bad. But I will say, I was as nervous as a whore in church.
